Okay, I went 3-1 in my game #2 picks, and am now 5-3 on the season. I am doing better than the Miami Heat are so far. Isn’t everyone hoping they fail miserably this season? I know I am. Game #1. Osseo Outlaws (2-0, 26/27) vs McQueeney River Ratz (0-2, 22/24). Well, McQueeney is a small city near San Antonio, and according to Sir Chuck, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N7BscIAK4_8 the women down there look like this. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KkpExVyXjOM&feature=related Not so good. As for the Outlaws, from Ohio State (or some such place), here is what their women may look like. http://sportscrack.blogspot.com/2008_08_21_archive.html Based on the evidence (scroll down to the bottom of this last link), I will take the Outlaws to drown the Ratz.
Game #2. Los Alamos (aka The How I F’d your Mother) (1-1, 25/27) vs Mean Machine (1-1, 23/24). I give you the top ten reasons why female engineers are hot. http://www.zpersonals.com.au/top-reason-why-female-engineers-are-hot/2/ As for the Machines, here are their cheerleaders http://movieclips.com/gPCN-the-longest-yard-movie-prison-cheerleaders/ Ouch, that 5 o’clock shadow is rough. Based on the lack of good looking women backing the Machine, their morale is going to suck and their dots are going to play like foofoo cake boys. Engineers take apart the Machine.
Game #3. Tampa Bay Scorpions (2-0, 24/26) vs Greenland Husky (2-0, 25/26). Greenland is one hell of a big island, and I guess they only have one Husky dog; not enough people live on that desolate wasteland to get plurals? Or, maybe the Husky is short for the Husky women who inhabit the place. http://www.sheppardsoftware.com/images/Canada/factfile/Inuit_women_1907.jpg In contrast, here are some ladies from Tampa. http://girls.gunaxin.com/hot-tampa-bay-rays-fans/716 (side note - is that Dub J in there, with a huge baseball glove?) Hmmm, tough choice, but, I will go with the Scorpions to overcome the Huskiness of the Greenlanders.
Game #4. Soo Sabercatz (2-0, 22/23) vs Blitzburgh Steel Militia (2-0, 20/22). Where the hell is Soo? Or is it the word “so” with an extra “o” on it to make it like we are sooooo Sabercatz? I don’t get it. I am not a big fan of sabercatz, but I am a big fan of these. http://www.heyjames.com/portfolio/images/demo_2006saberkittens.jpg The Kittens are sooo much better than the Catz.
