It is a program I wrote several seasons ago which also "corrects" the rush/pass yards. In real life a sack counts against passing yards not running yards. In GLB they treat a sack as a run attempt and run yards. I hated that cause it hid the true passing/running skills of a team and the defensive abilities of them so I wrote a program that "fixed" that in the calculations and also factored in those into the rankings as well.


It is a ruby program (only works with ruby 1.8 not ruby 1.9) that can be pulled down from

Then you can just run it like

ruby Ranking.rb 130 -u mylogin -p mypass

Might be nice for somebody else to be able to generate these rankings since I'm going on vacation next week and will likely be gone until the new year

Well, I have 28 vacation days a year normally, got 10 extra days for having a baby, had 8 days carried over from last year because I had to work on a project during my vacation so they had to give me back my vacation days, and 4 days in December are a company holiday anyway. So all in all my vacation started this past Monday actually but I just don't fly out until next week is all

And yes I love my job.

I really should have tried harder in school.
