Warrior General Games

This week pits teams of equal stature against each other. It should be a fun slate of games to watch as their really isn't a clear favorite in most of them.

After getting outwitted and outplayed the Gunners get to take their immense shock and anger out on Noumea. Keep the women and children home because there's going to be blood shed.

Fiji Flying Foxes (4) vs Rockhampton Raiders (11)
The Raiders are starting to move in the right direction but run into the brick wall that is Fiji.

WSP (7) vs ASRW (3)
The battle of the initials (sorry,i'm too lazy to write their full names). Alice Springs will continue it's winning ways against the Pussycats. Wollogong will try it's hardest but simply be overpowered.

Lexington Armada (15) vs Dharma Initiative (12)
I have to give it to the Armada, they keep chugging along and I haven't heard anything bad about them but Dharma has the firepower to send them to Davey Jones Locker yet again.

Redcliffe Sharks (14) vs Hamilton Falcons (8)
The Sharks don't look bad on paper but I haven't seen them pull anything off yet on the field. This could be the week it happens but the Falcons just refuse to let it happen as they scratch and claw their way to another win.

Tasmanian Swarm (10) vs Perth Pirates (13)
I like the Swarm, they just cover the field. No heros, no star a million levels above the competition. they just get it done and against the pirates it's no different.

------------------------Spotlight Game----------------------
Fiji Stingers (1) vs Newcastle Mountain Lions (2)
Definitely the game of the week as these last two undefeated teams battle each other. The Newcastle D is insane, only allowing 7 points in 5 games but the Stingers are above average on both sides of the ball. This game is about patience and field position, a giant chess match played on grass. I think when it's said and done and the smoke has cleared we'll see:

Brisbane Troyfins (9) vs Devonport Devils (6)
Both teams are rising stars. Devonport is riding a 3 game win streak and looks like it's finally found a rhythm. The Troyfins are coming off a stunning and complete win over the Gunners and look to put the beginning of the season behind them. I think both teams will knock teeth out but only one comes out alive.

You're stepping up in class for Game 6 and I don't think the Stingers have finished boosting. Trust me on that one lol.

Damn Dutch you stole my game 15 or 16 Headline (complete with Highlander clips). lol. You called the Gunners going down in a fiery mess, i'll give you that. If you're right again, i'll hire you to proofread the predictions before they get posted.

Yet again the Devonport Devils are in the spotlight game, but picked to lose. One day you may be right, but I don't think it will be this week. Devils by 6.

i think over/under on the early-season gem is 35. and the over/under on fiji is 10.

They are that good.

And Newcastle just hasn't played any of the top teams yet...

We covered the spread. I consider it a tiny victory as we lost our starting QB and NT before the game.
