Got booted off my team forum for asking to be released. I now have to sit for a two seasons waiting for my contract to finish. What a ball ache. Anyone else have a funny tale to tell?

I have to say, I didn't appreciate you sending me the player profiles on the entire Mobile team. We didn't use them because it didn't seem sporting. I can understand being unhappy and being in a bad situation, but I don't like the whole sabotage aspect.

That was this guy?? Wow, not sure if I would even trade him now....

It isn't sporting that they have me tied up to a 2 season contract after I paid money to develop a player for them and without warning I am moved into 5th position even though I had better stats than the 3 of the other guys but they ordered it on levels. Then when I ask to be released I get banned from the forum. Now I have to be content with an exchange of abusive PMs until my contract is over.

It wasn't done lightly, I am just trying to do what I can so that they release me or trade me. They said they weren't bothered about the profiles being sent out.

Yeah, yeah. Another one filled with the joys of summer. You are missing the point completely, I am still playing, I wanted more QUALITY playing time and that is what I signed up with that team for and leveled up and put the points where the owner asked me to.

I play this game because I enjoy football not because I want to have the highest level player. The thrill for me is watching the games to see whether I make a spectacular play/catch/run/tackle and the team plays well. All I asked was for the owner to let me go if I didn't fit into his team so that I could go and find a team that I would fit into. I could have stayed in the D leagues and got more action.

I have lost nothing as I was going to sit and do nothing for two seasons anyway because my player was not involved in the team. So THINK before you go mashing away at the keyboard calling someone an idiot before you understand fully what is going on. Typical of kids today.

No need to get angry because you don't understand what I said. I politely asked the owner to release me or trade me as I wasn't needed and then when I got no response to this I made a post in the forum, I wasn't the only one that brought it up and we were both banned from the forum. I reacted AFTER this. I actually still don't think you will understand because you are probably only interested in the XP part of the game and not the joy of playing.

Surely that's why i have a losing team ^^

Actually it isn't idiotic as that would suggest a lack of thought to the action. When that is the only other leverage that you have to try and get off a team after asking nicely and then bringing it up on the forum then what else is there to do, just shut up and take it in the ass?

It might be considered unethical, but not idiotic. Idiotic might be to base your depth chart, not on the skills of the players, but on the number next to their level. Idiotic might also to be banning players with an enthusiastic interest in the game from being involved in the team because they asked to be released or traded. Idiotic might also be jumping in feet first to call someone else an idiot when you are clearly an uneducated moron yourself. Of course these are all hypotheticals and I am not referring to anyone in particular, just hanging on a forum chillin' out.

There is absolutely no spin that you can put on this, that would convince ANYONE IN THIS LEAGUE, that what you did was right. Furthermore, having done that, what owner in his right mind would now TRUST you enough to be on this team, I know I wouldn't, what happens when you get 2 less plays than you think you deserve, I run the risk of having my teams builds, scouting and gameplanning pasted to the other teams, not a chance, I could care less if you are the most enthusiastic player in the game, it's not worth the chance.

I am not trying to sell myself to other owners. I have great relationships with team owners and GMs through my other teams and already have a couple of options when I am free. You are another one that has no understanding of what has gone on, which is fine, I am happy enough venting so I am not really looking for your approval. Thanks fr your input though.

I am happy to play backup, as I have other players on teams in that situation, the difference is that there was no surprise in what happened as I signed up to that. With this one I signed up and spent money to boost to where I was asked to, even changing my build for the new owner. Then I got put in the cupboard and finally asked to be released and it all went to shit from there.

Guess it serves me right for signing up to team run by kids.

You posted here to get the attention of other owners/gms/players, and to make yourself look like you are not at fault. It isnt working, give up.
