Hey all, does anyone know if the advanced energy tactics have really changed and what tweaks were made? Current Wiki states:

75/1 - This strategy is used when you have a really good starter and an okay backup. Basically the starter plays until he hit's 75 energy then is subbed out for the backup. The starter will then rest one play on the bench and be subbed back in. They will rotate the rest of the game.

#/#-10 - This basic strategy is to rotation sum but give your starter a bit more play time. It's usually used as either 75/85, 80/90 or some combination of that. 70/80, 80/90, 90/100. Keep in mind the higher energy your players are during the game the better they will perform.

98/99 - Used by the CPU teams, this setting rotates through the depth chart and the person with the best stamina will usually play more.

99/1 - My favorite basically this setting does a 50/50 time split with 2 players at a position. Note if you have 3 players at this position he will never be subbed in.

1/1 - This setting basically keeps your starter in the whole game. Only subbing when he is entirely drained of energy.

I see now that advanced tactics were suggested at 35/65

O coordinators, whats your take on this and where are you finding a happy medium?

I've always used 98/99 with no problems.

If you're just running a farm team and want everyone to get the same number of plays, maybe. But if you're trying to get the best play possible, use 98/99, assuming you have capable backups.

I've always used 99/1 unless there are more than 2 players in a slot; where I would use 98/99.

If the backups are only good enough for limited snaps then they shouldn't be on the roster.

The reason you use 98/99 is because not every play affects every player's energy the same, and not every player has the same stamina.

If you're swapping players every other play, you may have a guy in there who's fatigued. Why would you want that?

If they're rotating in and out every play then they very rarely get fatigued.

98/99 might work if both players have equal stamina and one isn't draining all his energy on special teams. I just like to make sure all players on my team get an even amount of snaps.
