So, here it is. In 2 hours, we'll know our league champion!
It's odd you have a matchup of Week 1 in the league finals: I've played GLB for 18 seasons, and it's happened 1 time for me. Lisbon beat Nashville 35-7 in Week 1, but Nashville is much better now than then. Is it enough to make up the deficit? Can Nashville learn anything from Unreal's near-upset last week? We will see shortly.
Key to the Game: Nashville's Defense against Lisbon's Offense
We all know what Lisbon does best: pound the rock, and pound it with authority. Nashville has the 4th-best rushing defense in the league, while World Beater should be the league's MVP. If Nashville can hold World Beater to around 200 yards, its odds substantially improve. If not, then Lisbon's chances are far greater. Nashville's defense has played inspired this postseason, especially in last week's upset. Can they do it one more time?
Prediction: Lisbon-24, Nashville-21.

VGG Lisbon. Very, very even game, right down to the total yards. You made Jones throw his first INT of the season, damn it! We both succeeded in holding the other's strength in check: me holding World Beater to less than 200 yards, you making Cash mostly ineffective. The long TD bomb before the half was HUGE for us, putting us up 2 scores.
The difference in this game was the ST production. If I had to give an MVP award for this game, it'd be Tillis. The 2 TDs on kickoffs were the difference in the final score. He's done that all season on KOs, and just seems to bring it against great teams. The eerie thing about this game: take away those 2 ST TDs, the score is...24-21 Lisbon, exactly what I predicted.
SR, you've done a great job at Lisbon, a fantastic season for you guys (and the most dominant back I've seen in Pee Wee).
This league has been a fun one this year, and I thank you guys for being a swell group. I'll be taking my crew onto the Level 14 leagues to test my luck there. I'm honored to have played some solid teams here, and thankful to have beaten 2 undefeateds to get there.

Easy to overlook Harrison in this too, but you're right on the money. 83 rushing TDs for Harrison, 79 for Beater. Just incredible numbers.

Ya I mean Harrison splits the carries with a great Power Back. I think this league has some of the best running i have seen. and honestly the guy who made Harrison, he is a good friend of mine and I taught him a few things about GLB so maybe he goes into coaching like me
