Passing vs DB's who will win? Lunch Box is on a tear. Scored 73 in the 2nd round of the playoffs. Even their defense is playing good. Can't stand Perma, but you can't deny they are a very good team. Lunch Box is using 9 Wrs to keep fresh legs burning up the field. Dirty on the other hand plays great defense. They also have a very good offense but their specialty is keeping fresh defenders on the field. Dirty uses 6 CBs, 3 SS's and 3 Fs's to keep passing teams at bay. Both teams in their second season here.
Last season Dirty finished 14-2 and lost in the 2nd round to shock everyone except Loretto who won 35-31. This season Mike got some payback beating Loretto in the 2nd round 31-0
Lunch Box failed to make the playoffs last season going 7-8-1. This season Lunch Box is making a name for themselves rolling to a 10-6 record and winning 8 in a row. Lunch Box has never beaten Dirty since both teams are in Gold.
My prediction is another shootout but not as high as earlier in the season when Dirty won 35-28. I will take Lunch Box to prevail 24-21

Familiar Foes again. Seems it's always FGC, Crackertown, Maine and Short Bus in the final 4 to represent the East. Short Bus and Crackertown both made the East look great while FGC made us look very bad. Maine hasn't had their chance yet. I was thinking Maine would take the East this season and end up Golds Champion, but it seems FGC had other plans. That only leads me to believe that this season is the season FGC finally gets over the hump.
FGC has carried the #1 offense and defense all season long until the final game. FGC uses blitzers very effectively and probably is the fastest team in Gold. They have solid builds and can score enough to win the close battles. If FGC can win out they can become the 2nd team to go undefeated in Gold. Something that is very hard to do and is a huge reward in itself. FGC uses a very balanced offense. Their key to winning is that blitzing defense that causes a lot of ruckus for OCs and opposing QBs. They always seem to have the upper hand to any offense.
Crackertown who looked like a non playoff team has turned it around with the new GLB rental EQ. That brought life back into CTJ. Crackertown won 5 in a row before falling to FGC in a 38-21 thriller. Then they lost to Maine the following game before winning both their playoffs games. CTJ runs a very balanced offense as well leaning more towards the running game. Crackertown won a championship in season 16 going 19-1. Their only loss was to FGC that season 26-28. 2 pts away form an undefeated season and that was when everyone would of bet the house on Cascade taking Gold. Season 17 CTJ lost in the first round while FGC went on to the championship game where they got abused by a level advantage Cascade Surley Goats.
This season FGC goes all the way!
