Warrior General Games

I won't be very active in S19 due to the birth of my first child. My defense is good enough where it takes minimal weekly maintenance, but a good offense is a different story. I have been working on an auto-pilot offense that should be decent, but nothing beats a dedicated OC.

Thus I am looking for someone willing to run my offense and put the time in required to run a good Gold level offense. I don't expect much from this team, just enough so I am not demoted. Doubt my defense will be a top 5 defense this season, but should be a top 10 one, so as long as the offense is in the top third, that should be good enough.

I plan on making all the players myself, but wont have the flex to boost, but I could CEQ if it looks like we have a good team, but don't want to waste the flex on non-playoff team. I can make these players to what ever build guide you provide. But I want to make all the players by day 42, so that is why I am posting now.

I also don't care if you are on another West team, would be willing to take a guaranteed loss against your main team if it means I have a good OC.

If anyone is interested, just shoot me a PM. If I don't get anyone I think is qualified, I will just go with the auto-pilot offense I have been working on.

I don't think they are the same. His posting style is very different from perma/EDB.

Plus on the outside chance you are right, I will figure it out for myself at a certain point and then have the option to boot him and take back control of my OC. But if he is winning games for me, I probably wouldn't care as long as he doesn't go mouthing off too badly and making my Bears a hated team.

Tomlinator from Lunch Box. Sounds young and eager to learn, but claims to have been helping with LB's offense the 2nd half of the season, which did get a lot better. Plus seems to scout well, which is always a plus.

I turned down Bleeds two seasons ago, big mistake, figured I would give Tomlinator a chance. We talked a fair amount last night and I like what I heard so far.

D-Town thinks he is an alt of perma/EDB, but after talking with him, I don't think so. Could be in that same group of friends, dunno, but he handles himself better and with more maturity so far, so he got the job.

Either way, I think he will do a better job than my auto-pilot offense I had designed. My Bears might not go 15-1 next season, but if he is as good as I think he is, we should be a playoff team without much help from me, which is exactly what I am looking for.

I presumed you were only kidding on that offer, so didn't take it as serious.

As for S19, even if we make the playoffs, it will likely be as a lower seed, so that 6th playoff loss would be expected for the first time. But with someone else running the offense at that time, who knows what will happen.

Wow...you filled the position in a few hours! How many offers did you have?

Had a couple offers, but the one I picked sounded like he had the best potential and had the time to give to proper scouting. Most of the offers were for someone to setup their Offensive AI and then let it run on auto-pilot or I would have to scout for it. I already have my own auto-pilot system and don't have the time to scout, so those offers did me no good.

As for my quick decision, I had a good canidiate, so I had to decide to run with him, or risk loosing him if I waited too long. I posted for an OC once before, and only got 1-2 real offers over several days. That's when I turned down an unproven Bleeds and still kick myself for that...
