TL/DR
This was not an item that is being actively tested as of yet, however based on some changes on the Test Server to Kickoffs and Returns, these changes were evaluated during the Passing Game Mechanics Tests and I thought I would share them for those that are interested to see.

Hang time looks good, would need to see how its effecting all levels of build, but promising. Also concerns that extended play time will lead to extended energy loss.

Wedge blockers are doing a much better job in waiting for the KR,

Is this intentional? Its working in that blocks are being picked up, but its not realistic.
Majority of tackles on the KR were due to Wedge splitting early on shorter kicks : http://test.goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=3098&pbp_id=667889

But its not a 100% win, will still need the right people in the right place, relevant builds etc, (and energy levels will effect it.)

Doesn't appear to be any allowances made with the coverage team? I guess the easiest adjustment would be to allow the opposite side of the coverage team to adjust their path by the same value as the angle of the kick automatically after X ticks/yards based on a vision check.
If not what I am seeing is that as soon as KR catches ball, dots start an intercept route that leads more or less to the EZ, and exposes a flank to a cut back and will use a lot of energy. Looks bad, but might not effect the sim much if at all.
