It seems like APL always has teams right around that 7-10 seeding.
Wouldve been nice to be able to have 6 teams from APL in the WL next season (damn PP), but 5 is still pretty sweet. No matter who gets bumped up this season it does not hurt our rep

I know for a fact that APL finished the first two seasons of WL with the 9th place teams (WWR/DD then ASM/Dakar). Then Dakar finished 9th or 10th our last season up there. APL has generally been pretty competitive, though GRitS, WWRs second time up, Answer Please, were all pretty embarrassing seasons. PHP/Boston both had solid seasons. Nairobi finished 9th their first time in WL, D9 finished there this time around.
Dakar was still the only one to get over the hump though until D9 did it in s16-17, Carthage in S17-18, and now Cagliari and Nairobi in S18 as well.
Seriously though, why isn't there an APL in WL history thread.

Correct I am the Godfather of the APL, but I have never been part of the WL. So it would not be right for me to write about it.

more like the grandmother of APL, sitting in her rocking chair, yelling at the kids to get off her lawn. Telling them how she's been in that same house for 50 years and she'll still be there when they've all grown up and moved to the big city
