No, will still be one World League and 8 Pro Leagues. The level below the Pro Leagues will be comprised of numerous Elite, Competitive and Normal leagues though unlike how the current AAA/AA/A structures currently work (meaning the best teams will be the ones at the upper tiers of that level).

I think Catch is saying that the leagues will be sorted based on level after they're sorted by age, so there could be a league full of non-boosting oldsters at the same cap as a league full of higher-leveled boosters.

Yes, it will be solely based on your players age.

I guess i will retire most of my players since they are nonboosters and it will be pointless..

Nonboosters will be fine, they'll avoid competitive and elite leagues and play each other in the 'regular' leagues.

Don't take your ball and go home because you won't be able to dominate the paying people in the mid caps anymore.

No, they can play. Nowhere did we say "non boosters can not play". They'll probably end up in the lower tiers with one another.

Then no one would ever boost and would only play in the non boosting leagues.

I don't see that logic. People boost now because they ultimately want to be in the big show. That wouldn't change with 2 separate leagues.

so we'll have 5 leagues of 320 day old players, and then they will sort those 5 leagues by effective level

Probably only be playing with really bad 320 day old boosters as they'd be at the bottom tier of the league structure eventually. But yes, it is possible.

then people would take our money elsewhere. Why not have age AND level based leagues instead of elite and normal?

i assume your referring to yourself as a non booster. So your not spending money minus the initial player cost which is peanuts compared to the cost of boosting a player over the length of their career.

I have never signed a non booster to any of my teams becuase in the end they are going to get left behind quickly. They are just fillers for bad teams.

After the initial sort, that's exactly what he is saying.

actually, non-boosters are GREAT for 1-2 season fill ins even if the rest of the team boosts

This is getting to be way too many changes, and seems to be getting more money oriented ......

Hey catch,
I'm not clear on somethings.

1-Does this mean that the Crushers next year might be in cap 14 as that is how their ages are affected as opposed to us wining 14 games? http://goallineblitz.com/game/team.pl?team_id=8911

2-Will there be a quick link to figure out who the oldest players are in order for us to drop them?

3-Does this mean that teams that finish in 15th and 16th spots must move up 1 cap?

1 - Nothing is changing for next season. This will not go into place until season 20.

2 - I can ask Bort to do that, shouldn't be too hard.

3 - all teams will always move up one level, regardless of performance until they reach uncapped leagues. Performance will dictate what tier (Elite, Competitive, Normal) that a team winds up in.

dry your tears, it will be ok. I fall into both categories and think solely age based leagues is a bad idea. Should be age then level instead of age then elite/normal.

elite, competitive, and regular will still be sorted by effective level so the non-boosters should remain together.

but if a non boosting team wins a bottom tier league then they'd be moved up to elite or competitive where they'd be with 360 day old boosters who are 25 levels higher and not bad, correct?
