As most of you guys can tell, I just don't have much left in the tank. My real life/GLB pendulum has swung pretty far back the other way. I just don't have the same desire as I used to, to continue to give up even more of my free time to try to play this game at a high level. I'm not leaving, but I'm going to be giving up the Redhorns, and really backing off doing anything more than training players for a while at least.
I bought the team in season 5, as the Johannesburg Jackals. Africa A #5! A5 was a very solid expansion league: Dakar Dragons and CWE both also came from there, along with several others. Moved up through AA #1, and AAA #1. The only hardware we got was a season 9 gold over Mamelodi Night Runners. That was a great game! Although we weren't as successful as a lot of teams, we made the playoffs for 12 straight seasons (provided we make it this season), and had two 16-0 AAA seasons as well.
We're not giving up on this season yet though, so hopefully we can pull our heads out of our butts long enough to put up at least a little fight!
Over all, it was a very fun run. Thanks to all of you that have hung out and battled with me over the seasons. I wish you all the best. Africa will always be my home, and I hope that maybe some of my players can land on a team or two in the future, so I can stay a part of this league.

Damn bro. I've always liked the Redhorns! I had fun when I played on the team and I'm personally fond of you.
