question: If my opponent uses his HB's in the Wildcat and i tag them all as rushers and then in my AI i select tagged QB as rusher, will it recognize what I am trying to accomplish?

That could work, but what will you do against rushing qb's?

tag the running backs and rushing qb as rushers?

I mean that how you want the outputs depend on the tagging, I'd give rushing QB's the rushin tag and make a custom for wildcat, then put the tag as QB for the output you want.

Doing that would work, but it would limit how you tag the HBs when playing their natural position. I try to get around that by having rushing QB inputs with the tags I use for HBs instead of the other way around. For instance, if you use the tags "elusive" and "power" for tagging HBs, then change your anti-rushing QB inputs to "elusive" tags, then tag any rushing QBs as "elusive."
