Warrior General Games

Unlike last season, I don't think the West will have any undefeated teams, let alone two of them. Here is how I think things will end up at the end of the regular season...

#1 PAIN NATION MIDGETS = had a great S17 season, but is still sore from a 1st round loss(join the club...). They will be hungry this season. Projected finish of 15-1.

#2 Chicago 85' Bears = my last competitive season for a couple. Major revamped offense and enhanced defense and a hungry coach running the team solo probably means I should do well. Projected finish of 14-2.

#3 Cascade Surly Goats = a very good team with a great coaching staff, but they are not hungry this season after winning it all last season. They had a poor showing in the pre-season and still don't have a full team. While still a power house, I think they will slip. Projected finish of 13-3.

#4 San Antonio Saviours = with Dead.Ed off of DirtyINC, he can focus totally on his team. He proved last season you don't need CEQ or boosting to do well and will repeat his success. Projected finish of 12-4.

#5 Final Thought = Ping72's teams are always dangerous, and this season will be no exception. Projected finish of 12-4.

#6 Loretto Panthers = this dark horse upset several very good teams in the playoffs and they will use this to earn a better regular season record than they did last season. Projected finish of 11-5.

#7 Lunch Box = Nif & Perma have been talking a lot of shit about how good their team will be this season. They already have full CEQ and will likely boost. While good coaches, they are not to the level they think they are and will finish with a good record, but not the superior one they hoped for. Projected finish of 11-5.

#8 DIRTY INC. = with the departure of Dead.Ed as their DC, DirtyMike has to run both sides of the ball. While a very good OC, we don't know what his DC abilities will be and I think he will just sneak into the playoffs. Projected finish of 10-6.


Bubble Teams:

Black Sea Buckeye Revolution = an unknown here in Gold, could be very good or could be demoted. Has been impressive so far, but just too much of an unknown to give any credit to...yet.

Atlantic City Surf = always dangerous, but under new management, which provides too much of an unknown to expect anything major from them. Could easily be a dark horse here in the west.

He Hate Me !!! = sorry Thunder, but this isn't the same Gold league that you were in. While I doubt HHM will get demoted, I just don't see them making the playoffs. But Thunder does have experience in Gold, so you can't totally count him out.

Lunch Box's short term goal is to improve on last season and an 11-5 finish would do jsut that. You would be hard pressed, however, to find a post of me personally talking anything but reality when it comes to my team. Stoner has let a few boasts slip though.

We aren't trying this season, I don't really mind if we go 0-16 tbh.

I'm not going to be doing much if any game planning (will probably just run the current auto-pilot OAI I've been using all preseason). The only reason we have players is so bstrackstar can learn how to DC and play around with some stuff.

Had I have been trying (without custom, but possibly boosting) we'd still probably only go 10-6 or something like that, as a lot has definitely changed since I actually tried in peewee (as I found out last season).

I don't think I'll do that good, I wasn't even planning on fielding a team but LE asked if he could do some SA testing. I don't plan on doing any game-planning, and the only goal is to not get demoted.

It will be close probably in your favor. We never win week 1. I think some of my agents take a couple of games until they set their tactics right. Usually a week 1 loss motivates them...lol

If I can stay awake long enough while writing a new DAI after work over the next few days Dirty will do better than predicted. Right now were riding with a Season 16 Defense

Demotion for PNP or the no 12 spot? Lol

Yea this is my first season testing out the DAI and play maker..... So teams will probably just destroy us

Thats about where I think the Surf will end up. With no custom and not boosting I would be surprised to make the playoffs.

PAIN NATION #1? No custom or boost this season. Maybe if everyone else is doing the same. Cool write up though Gerr!

Wow just saw LE's post and it doesn't look like much of anyone is using custom this year. Nice!
