Title or content search.... we need it!!!

I wish. I still don't know why the one they had crashed 2 years ago. Why can't we clone another forum server's search function?

because it was abused like a red headed stepchild. I would like a forum title search as well. Maybe not an entire forum search, since that would be ridiculous. Unless it was hosted by google or another powerful search engine.

I'll go with +1 with the hope that they can find a way to not make it lolstomp the server like the first time.

Couldn't you put in a time delay in-between forum searches so that you could only search either so many times a day(Like 3) or have a wait time before you could search again(Like 4 Hours). Maybe that would cut down on the server load, but also giving you a chance to find a topic that's important to you.

Perhaps they would see much less of a search hit if it didn't try to search every post in every forum. Many forums allow a search within a specific forum. Perhaps instead of it being on the search tab, put a search within forum on each forum page.

Could limit it to one search per... 30 seconds, 1 minute? to keep people from spam searching. Even toss in a captcha to keep bot/script searches.

But actually creating and implementing a safe, fast search into these forums is probably going to be a back burner project.

+1 though, being able to search the forums would help the game tremendously.

what if you can't remember the title though? What if the title is Big Blue Yonder, but all you remember are something large a color and something spelled _onder? Search Fat, Red and Wonder. You fail to find thread, and you lose

Tons of other forums have it, why can't we? I know we're capable of this.

yes this is one of the most frustrating thing about this game. if you cant find the topic u are looking for and post your question or topic and it gets locked by a nontolerant mod ,if icould search for it id have my awnser.this is very important for ALOT of people and server issues can be avoided,and limiting searches is just an excuse. In todays economy we need to keep all our paying customers happy and still be tryingn to expand the buisness.newbies who need specific questions awnsered and cant find it will take there cash to a site that will make it better and easier for them.off course game upgrades are great but playabilty and ease of information are key to the repeated longevity of the game
