To keep with the beauty of having a team in the league from Las Vegas in the A#3, we are going to have some fun this season. Four simple rules:

1) We are handing out $50,000 (fake jack $$$) to each of you to begin our season - starting tomorrow. You can place bets (double or nothing) on the odds posted each game by Merzlocker (see thread for each game)- posted here:

2) Merzlocker will post odds for each game in the conference. Please discuss them in that forum! This forum will be for betting only - just place your bet here and disuss there! I want to keep the discussion in that forum so this one is easier to filter bets from comments. You may bet on any team(s) in any conference(s).

3) We will update the player earnings and house earnings after each game. Any posts that have 'edit' by them within 45 mins of gametimes will not be considered.

4) The most you can bet on YOUR OWN TEAM is $5,000 to avoid conflict of interest. Any requests by owners to dissallow players from their teams will be granted - I want no problems...just looking for a fun time here.

We'll see who the winner- top earner is at the end of the season! We will have a special prize for the top 3 winners. This is all in fun with fake $$$ so have a blast with it!!!

I'm guessing the point of this is to see who has the most money by the end of the season. If you lose it all, then you have no money anymore and you are not the winner at the end of the season...

Watch all of us lose money and the person who wins ends up with $50k...because he didn't make any bets

I'm quite amazed at how concerned you guys are about losing...fear of loss on fake jack? hmmmmmmm?

Not concerned about loss of money so much as not being able to bet on the games. This makes the game even more interesting and I'd hate to not be able to bet because I lost it all too early.
