I think poor speed/agi is hurting, but he does force a good amount of fumbles and breaks tackles left and right on the rare occasion he gets the ball. Make tackle% helps as well. Strangely my team have also moved me from MLB to LOLB.... might have to tell him to change that.

I'd stop with SAs and speed and finish capping your majors. he does get a decent amount now, but he's not being built well for the future; which is fine if short term success is your goal.

Thanks, i'll finish strength then move on to the others. You don't think his speed is detrimental? This was one of my very first players hence why I spent points on the wrong SA's, and too early, wasn't exactly sure what direction I wanted back then.

Lack of speed will hurt him now, yes. (although a good DC should be able to plan for it). But Speed is not a major and spending on it early in the build like you have hurts his long term viability. You should be done with Agility, Tackling, Strength and vision before running speed up. My MLB here:

Hasn't capped speed yet and I don't plan to until I'm done with vision. He does have eq in speed to help make up for it.

Also, putting him on the Outside would be idiotic IMO unless you just don't have the depth.

Lol my thoughts exactly. Sent him a message about it but he hasn't done anything yet.

Thanks a lot for the advice, I will take everything on board.

I see you've gone for FF%, are you on wrap up or do you find that higher tackling/agility make up for it?

I just bought the FF%, I haven't really even cared about his numbers or play ability to date. He's being built to peak in his 10th season.

I was originally going to go the route of DGen + Natural Leader, but next season I plan on trying the FF route. If it doesn't workout I will switch him to a STOP and have him beat up on Kick Returners.

Those poor kick returners.
