But after the first game when teams play across conferences, who would Cobra Kai play the other fifteen weeks since 31 scrub teams will be crammed like sardines into the other conference?

as long as there are 8 former WL teams in each conference I don't really care.... 12 teams out of 16 stayed in their conference.. Agreed... could be better.
