Game 4 Power Rankings
Western Europe AA #3

1. Montcuq Berserker Trolls (Alpha) 4-0
LW: 1
Next Game: vs. No. 4 Minotaurs
Last Game: W 40-31 vs. No.2 Crack Whores
The Trolls faced off against a top conference oppenent in an offensive struggle and proved why they are the top team in the league, but they have no time to rest as they face off with another top conference oppenent.

2. Wales Whales (Zeta) 4-0
LW: 3
Next Game: vs. No. 10 Crusaders
Last Game: W 39-3 vs. Rhinos
Another impressive showing by the Wales Whales, outscoring their oppenents 117-6 in their first 4 games. They will face their toughest oppenent yet next game as the Stirling Crusaders jump into the rankings for the first time this season

3. Vice City Crack Whores (Alpha) 3-1
LW: 2
Next Game: vs. No. 7 Naranjas
Last Game: L 31-40 vs. No. 1 Trolls
A devestating loss to the number 1 team in the league last game didn't hurt this team's ranking to bad, but they are looking to get back on track as they face the number 7 team in the league.

4. Knossos Minotaurs (Alpha) 4-0
LW: 4
Next Game: vs. No. 1 Trolls
Last Game: W 26-3 vs. Razorbacks
Another convincing win for this undefeated Alpha team as the Minotaurs look to pull off the upset of the number 1 team in the league next game.

5. Dorset Stampede (Alpha) 4-0
LW: 5
Next Game: vs. Razorbacks
Last Game: W 80-0 vs. Destroyers
The Stampede stomped the Destroyers last game and they continue to build up steam in the Alpha conference.

6. Spaniard Quebrantagüesos (Zeta) 4-0
LW: 6
Next Game: vs. Armadillos
Last Game: W 30-13 vs. No. 9 Black Bears
The Quebrantagüesos might have a funny name, but they are getting serious respect as they knock off a top ten team.

7. Seville Naranjas (Alpha) 4-0
LW: 7
Next Game: vs. No. 3 Crack Whores
Last Game: W 67-0 vs. Royals
I have no clue what a Naranja is but they sure did kick the Royals' asses to the curb last game as they look forward to the Crack Whore who are looking to rebound after a devastating loss last game.

8. Yorkshire Knights (Alpha) 3-1
LW: 10
Next Game: vs. Super Crues
Last Game: W 16-0 vs. Corsairs
The Knights bump up 2 spots after the squeek past the Corsairs with the defense leading the way.

9. München The Fearless Lions (Zeta)3-1
LW: NR
Next Game: vs. Thunder (Watch List)
Last Game: W 20-7 vs Jokers
The Lions are undefeated after they lost their first game and make their first appearence in the top ten after taking care of the Jokers 20-7.

10. Stirling Crusaders (Zeta) 3-1
LW: NR
Next Game: vs. No. 2 Whales
Last Game: W 31-3 vs. No. 8 Killer Bees
The Crusaders knocked of the No. 8 Killer Bees to spring them into the Top Ten but they face the No. 1 team in the conference and No. 2 team in the league next game.

Dropped from rankings
No.9 Bergen Black Bears, No. 8 Bath Killer Bees

Watch List:
Black Watch (Alpha), Berlin Thunder (Zeta), Bergen Black Bears (Zeta)

Game of the Week
No. 1 Trolls vs. No. 4 Minotaurs

Other Top Ten Matchups:
No. 2 Whales vs. No. 10 Crusaders
No. 3 Crack Whores vs. No. 7 Naranjas

I have a feeling there is going to be some controversy on this weeks rankings, so let me address the issues that I think are going to be brought up

"The Crack Whores have a loss, why are they No. 3 while there are undefeated teams behind them?"
-I mainly did this because they played a very close game vs. the number 1 team in the division. I knew that I couldn't drop them past No. 4 and seeing that teams 4,5,6, and 7 are very close in rankings that if I bumped 1 up I would have to bump the other 3 up as well. I just couldn't drop the Crack Whores to No. 7.

"How did you choose the No. 9 and No. 10 teams? Why are they both from Zeta Conference?"
-I spent a long time choosing the 2 teams to fill these spots. It was really between 4 teams, the Lions, Crusaders, the Watch, and the Thunder. I had to eliminate the Watch even though they are on a 2 game win streak because they have 2 losses and their 2 wins come from the bottom of the conference. Then it was between three 3 win teams. I chose the Lions, even though they are No. 6 in the Zeta Conference because they are on an impressive 3 game win streak, and they lost a tough game in week one. I chose the Crusaders because of their upset over the Bath Killer Bees.

Thank You and understand that this is only my opinion and I know that these rankings aren't perfect but I would love some constructive critizism so that next weeks rankings will be more accurate.

On the whole, sure the rankings look fairly accurate. Spaniard is still suspect though.

Man, the rankings will be sooo screwed up after tomorrow's games, there are going to be quite a few losses in the top ten. Teams out of the top 10, watch for your team on the game 5 power rankings

#2 wasn't all that j/k. It was a big night with some quality matches where some top teams really showed their true form.

I've been watching too much Euro Cup '08.
