For all of you in my Yahoo Fantasy Football league, I changed the LIVE draft time to this Tuesday 8/31 at 8pm Mountain, which is 10pm Eastern and 7pm Pacific.

I did this because I didn't realize that my original draft time was on Labor Day weekend and not many would be around. The best times were already taken, so that's why it's a few days earlier than I would have liked, but I think it will for most.

If you don't attend, the system will auto-draft for you. While this isn't ideal, if you pre-rank your players, it will help some, but it's best to make the live draft.

Too late to sign up?

we have 18 teams already, I could add 2 more, but I think 18 is two to many already. But if people are willing, if we could get a 2nd to commit, we could do 20.

Look for another, if you get someone else to commit before draft time Tuesday, I will add you 2. Just remember that a 20 man league will be very thin talent wise and will take all your football knowledge to get a good team.

that time sucks I already have a draft that starts 30 min earlier....can we move it back 1 more hour??

what would one hour do, instead of being 30 after your other draft, it would be 30 min before?!?

I think he's saying move it one hour later, or an hour and a half after his other draft.

It already starts pretty late for those in the Eastern time zone, 10pm. Plus with 18 teams, this will be a long draft, well over an hour, so pushing it FORWARD one hour would mean it starts at 11pm EDT and would probably last until well after midnight. I think that is too late and unfair for those in that time zone.

Just open a 2nd brower and do both at the same time. No, not an easy task, but a better option than forcing someone to stay up late if they have work or class that next morning.

draft order is determined 15 or 30 min before the draft. I have done a number of these leagues over the years, and for some reason, I often get hte last draft spot, so hoping for a good one this season...
