I know this probably isn't a bug so much... but it should be looked into... this was the last play of the half... could have been a TD...

I've seen more examples of this pathing.

More examples...

Yep that is some wonky return pathing there.

After a little research, I noticed that this particular agent's players have a tendency to do this... most other INTs that I watched didn't... so I PM'd him to ask if his guys were set more to Power on the ball carrying slider... I think that may cause it... perhaps... anyway, awaiting response.

Yeah... lucky bastards... well, maybe we'll see them again in the playoffs.

You'd think Power would make him run straight towards the endzone and just not avoid the other dots.

It looks like he is more interested in following a blocker than getting in the end zone.

Yeah, either way, he should head towards the end zone, but as I watched other INTs, they all take the proper path... so the only thing I can figure is his ball carrying style.... he's a great corner with good vision, agility, etc.... so I don't think it's the build.

I dunno because I've seen a whole lot of ints take that path inwards before going to outside this season. Personally, I think it's a Bort stealth "fix" to the too many INTs for TD returns. But that's just a wild guess. *shrug*

To me it looks more like the CB wants to take a patch more like a kick returner than a WR streaking to the outside towards the end zone. With this said, it does not look correct to me so I will mark it as likely a bug.

I'm not entirely sure about this being a bug as much as CB rushing slider settings but I'll go ahead and send it up for a closer look.

This just looks like he doesn't see the mass of players in the middle of the field until he's pretty close to them. He's moving away from the WR who is on his outside, and then when he does see the inside players he cuts back outside (which allows the WR to catch him).

This one he just doesn't turn at all until he's full on in the FB. Could be a combination of factors - running slider would be one of them. Also, he's moving away from the WR that is trailing him.

This one he's moving away from the WR who is between him and the sideline (although the WR is slightly behind him). Normal evade pathing.

All in all, I think this is working okay based on what we know. WRs usually have the CB inside them, so the WR runs to the sideline. The CB is on the inside of the WR in all these cases, so he runs inside to evade. Depending on the slider settings for the CBs that could make this issue worse with pathing update timings.

Not a bug, first verification.
