Nairobi Warthogs.. They've now given up double digits in points 3 of the last 4 weeks.. but who really cares when you're winning by more then 50 points. Simply the most dominant team in APL currently!!
Fulham Flying Hellfish.. The only undefeated team in Lion comes in at #2 this week! Their offense continues to overwhelm their opponents with a good mix of pass and run with 2 QBs over 1,700 yards passing and 3 HBs with over 500 yards rushing... it's pretty much pick your poison when you enter Hellfish Stadium!
Sons of Anubis continue to hold down the #3 spot this week. They bounced back big after that narrow win against TBH with an impressive win over The Dead Presidents! Jesus Heff aka Miracle Worker continues to frustrate defenses around the conference! They look to be destined for a Clash of the Titans type battle with the Warthogs...
Cagliari Outbreak holds tight at #4 this week. Some of the voters were a little concerned about giving up 51 to the Sterling Bulldawgs.. but hell a win is a win! The Outbreak are an offensive machine scoring over 77 a game and their D is tied for the second fewest missed tackles.. that's a recipe for victory even my grandma would endorse!
Franchise moves up to the 5 slot this week! Lane West did what he does best against the Storm last week and they rolled right behind him. Their passing D is about to get a nice test from the Diggits just before it's time for their newly heated rivalry game with the Outbreak!
Windhoek White Rhinos are the fastest climber this week moving up to #6 from the #10 slot!! Apparently that win against the Predators was a lot more impressive then I thought
That or having a few other teams tumble helps out a lot too. Either way the Rhinos are beginning the climb towards the promise land!!
The Black Hand also climb up two spots to #7. TBH are a solid team that will make some noice in the playoffs.. with only one game left against another top team they will continue to stock pile Ws!!
Massawa Redhorns their loss to Franchise hadn't been registered before the last poll.. so it wasn't a huge surprise to see them drop a bit.. they come in at #8 this week. They have the Hellfish coming in two games so that should tell us more about this team!
The Dead Presidents come in at #9 this week.. their rough outing against SoA dropped them 3 spots.. but their game against The Black Hand in two weeks will decide if they get to stay on the list at all!!
For the final spot on this weeks list ... well nobody gets it!! The Ivory Coast Breakers were sitting on the bubble.. and now they have company on the bubble as the San Francisco Demons have joined them.. and it wouldn't be a party if Carthaginian War Elephants didn't join them both in 3-way (tie that is).. all 3 teams have one game to show why they get on the list!!
