Do you think that points in Swat Ball lower your chance to intercept?

The description "makes players more adept at knocking down passes" leads me to believe that my player may knock down a ball instead of going for the catch.

Would this be a wasted skill if your player is set to "go for the interception frequently"?

Thoughts?

Well im thinking if your catch is high enough it may not. If your in place to get a hand on the ball to "swat" it away you may pull it in. I think swat ball is a bit of a misname. Sometimes a tip is all it takes. Just my thoughts
