I am going to build a new player. I am trying to decide between a FS or SS. Which one do you guys think? Does one get more stats than the other?

SSs generally get more stats than FSs.

More picks? Probably.
More tackles? I doubt it.

CBs get all the balls thrown their way.
CBs get all the outside tackles.

Yes, but CBs are too easy to build. All Speed.

SS probably gets more stats.

And why the hell did you bring corners in? He didn't ask about corners.

FS can still get good stats if they're good

thanks for your help guys

i did mention corners in my second post.

I basically want to build a player for my new team when i get it and I want a player that will get some stats but also one that is kind of hard to find on the free agent market. I think I am settling on a SS or FS.

CBs get all the blocks from the receivers, leaving the SS or FS to make the tackles.

Build a SS, FS are just weaker SS's

I have a level 20 SS and level 20 FS. I love the SS and with the FS he just hangs back every play and might record 2 tackles a game. FS are boring and I'm considering retiring him for the flex points. SS are really fun, mine gets a lot of pass deflections and tackles. They can also blitz and cover TEs man to man. Ss is definitely where you want to go.
