In an attempt to try to figure out which season my 1st child will be born in, which means I won't be active that season, I figured out the approx time frame for each season.

I use the presumption that each season will always start on day -8 and go through day 48 before it turns over again. Taking that into account...

S17 will last from 7/21 to 9/15
S18 will last from 9/16 to 11/11
S19 will last from 11/12 to 1/7
S20 will last from 1/8 to 3/5

Granted any big off-season updates that postpone the start of the new season will affect these time frames, but that doesn't happen too often.

When is he/she due?

We are expecting our first in early to mid December.

She is due Nov 10th, so from time frame I made, looks like I can do a full S18 pending she isn't early.

our little girl came in early S14. sure glad we were in copper then, lol. More importantly, I'm fortunate that I can game plan at work!

Looks like your in the same boat as I am... My baby girl is due November 1st. Congrats btw on yours

lol, no. I have too much money invested to quit, will just go on auto-pilot in S19 pending I don't find someone to run the team that season.

You'll have plenty of time to game plan.

Baby wakes up at 2am crying. Wife looks at you says "your turn" by the time you stumble down the hall half awake, baby is back asleep and now you are awake...

perfect time to do some lurking/training before falling back asleep.

Hopefully yours isn't sitting cross-legged in the womb like ours was. Doc would only give us an 80% chance of a girl since he couldn't get a good look.

yea our doctor had an issue for awhile then finally she decided to roll over and do a spread eagle... It went from 80% girl to 99.9% girl

With our second child, the lady doing the ultrasound was immediately like "Whoa! Do you wanna know the sex of the baby cause its plain as day??"

I was like "Oh yea, he gets it from me"

Wife was not thrilled....
