(-)1: Austin Orangebloods (3-0)
Austin keeps on trucking through the competition out West, they seem like the team to beat. They have not won any games by a large margin, but a lot of that is due to the strong teams they have played thus far. Austin sits on top of the Power Rankings, with few opponents to match their players and coaching abilities. Player leaders: (QB) Chris Harper; (WR) walt sobchak

(-)2: Turin Falcons (3-0)
The Falcons Have been a bit quieter thus far, but have already taken revenge on the team that took them out, and have been able to roll through other teams with fair competition. Once the Falcons find their stride and matchup against some of the weaker teams out East, they may prove to be the top team in the conference. Player leaders: (FB) Jean-Francois Courtemanche

(+1)3: Fortaleza Longhorns (3-0)
Fortaleza has strung together some good wins against some of the better teams in the West. They are probably licking their chops at the 4 game series ahead of them, can you say stat booster games?

(-1)4: Tricity Cardinals (3-0)
Tricity moved down a spot, but only for the lack of competition they have played overall and the lack of competition in the East as a whole, the question that everyone would like to know is how some of the teams would do out West. The Cardinals may be up to the challenge come post season, but for now, will most likely roll through the next several games with ease. Player leaders: (QB) The Gun Show; (QB) Eli Cornelius Spiderpig; (WR) Steve "Show Us Your" Breastons; (DE) Mike Hock

(-)5: Las Vegas Flyin' Elvis (3-0)
L.V. has demolished their opponents, but those games are really nothing to brag about. The competition won't pick up probably until game 6 when they face the Crew followed by the Falcons. Hopefully they have enjoyed those easy games, and won't get to big headed or they may have have a second half season collapse. Player leaders: (QB) Jonnie O' Quigglie; (HB) Ian Hurlburt; (HB) TD Parker; (WR) Jeremy Parker; (DE) bill cuningham; (CB) Barry Larkin; (DT) Headslap Jones; (C) Jerry Pringles

(+4)6: Shelby Bearcats (3-0)
The Bearcats are on their franchises longest winning streak, though the teams they have beaten so far don't appear more then bottom feeders of the East. The Bearcats are about to find some real competition here in the next few games, they have yet to make a believer out of many other franchises, but they may not be a team you would want to sleep on either. Player leaders: (HB) Runya Assover; (CB) Tristan Jenkins

(+2)7: More Cowbells (3-0)
The Cowbells were in a very similar situation last season, where they came out strong but fell apart towards the end to narrowly miss the playoffs. Their easy 3 game stretch is now over, as they prepare for a rough road mid season. Player leaders: (DE) Alfred McCullough; (G) Jumbo MacNamara

(+3)8: Rocky Mountain Snipers (2-1)
The Snipers may actually be a top team, but not thee top team with their loss to Austin. They are a very solid team, and have snuck by some good teams thus far. They will be a threat and are probably better then what they are ranked at right now. Player leaders: (LB) Billy BigHits

(+5)9: Dirty South Brew Crew (2-1)
The Crew took out a undefeated team this week, but with a loss to the underachieving Hitmen, you never kn ow the quality of play with this team. They are a great team when they have the wheels spinning, but seem to struggle against speed bumps. They need to keep the heat up to prove they are an Elite team.

(-3)10: Slaycity Slayers (2-1)
With an abundance of average teams in the East, this team has shown they have the ability to raise up. But is it enough for the long haul, they go up against a undefeated team, time to show they belong on top of the East. Player leaders: (WR) Just Wolf

(+5)11: Omaha BA Mofo's (2-1)
Team Chuck Norris had a field team against the conferences weakest team. This team belongs in the top 4 of the West, and one would assume they can do it. This team has some tests coming up here in the next few games. It's not make or break, but It will show how they stand early on. Player leaders: (QB) Alexandre Dubois; (CB) Antwan Winfield

(+1)12: D.C. Corruption (2-1)
D.C. had a great first game, but is that attributed to the weak conference? A loss to the Slayers was unexpected, they have the players, but do they have the coaching. They have a lot of questions to figure out if they want to be a contender this season. Player leaders: (CB) CJ Wilson

(+2)13: Panthers Syndicate (2-1)
After coming a long way from just a season ago, the Panthers seem to be a much improved team and are attempting to get away from their just average playing a season ago. They have yet to put a win against a top team, but have shown the moderate teams in the league that they wont be handled like they were before. Player leaders: (QB) Dan Marino Jr.

(+3)14: Cochabamba Pirates (2-1)
The Pirates and their squirrel nuts have looked a lot sharper this season. Season 1 they were Elite, season 2 they were below average. Now they seem to have figured out a strength at barely lost to the top team. They seem to have their Mojo (or Rum) and are now ready to climb back up the ladder to dominance. Player leaders: (HB) Deon McGriff; (DT) slippery mcnutt

(-9)15: North Shore Sharks (2-1)
The sharks lost to a good team, unfortunately it happened to knock them down a bit in the Power Rankings. They have a couple good teams ahead of them, if they could pull out a win in one of them, they can prove they belong or prove how open the competition is in the East. Player leaders: (SS) Kam Chancellor; Rick "Wild Thing" Vaughn

(-8)16: South Park ManBearPigs (2-1)
The MBP's were unable to score any points after putting up 30+ on inferior teams. They will need to pick it up, or they may be headed towards a downward spiral, the easy games are over, time to buck up for the real competition. Player leaders: (QB) Pu Ping; (HB) LA Chargers; (HB) Bucky Wild; (CB) Bryan Lewis; (G) Igor Zug

(+5)17: South Bend Red Raiders (2-1)
This team has done fairly well out West, and seems to mix in well with the competition. They have some stat builder games coming up, but then they get to buckle down for some good western teams. They have a shot of going far in the league, but their abilities wont be measured until they prove they can beat some of the top teams. Player leaders: (DT) David "The Wall" Lothringer

(+5)18: Dayton Goatse (1-2)
With the more difficult teams out of the way, Dayton should find a rhythm the rest of the, it would be shocking to see this team get more then 2 losses the rest of the way. They are well built and beat the top team from the East last season when it mattered. Player leaders: (LB) Jeremiah Turzanski

(-6)19: Chicago Hitmen (1-2)
Chicago seems to be be continuing their up and down trend. They have the tools needed to do well, but perhaps coaching decisions are keeping them from playing at the top of their game This team needs to find consistency to be a top threat, if they are unable to pull it together they may just be another average east team. Player leaders: (QB) Dan Marino13; (LB) Mike Taylor

(-1)20: Colony 195 Defenders (1-2)
The defenders seem to dominate the weak teams then get completely dominated by teams better then them. their game plans probably need to be tweaked so they can actually stand up to some of the better teams in the East. This team seems to be another one that just wants to get lost in the mix. Player leaders: (QB) Trowa Barton; (WR) Dubious Maximus; (LB) Billy Outlaw; (SS) Ezekiel Aguilar

(-3)21: Compton Cougars (1-2)
The Cougars have the ability to be great, but for some reason all they care about are stats. If they can't become a TEAM as a whole instead of a ME team, they may fall even further. They have great stats, but lack the W's that were there for the taking. Perhaps a management change is needed to get this team to play up to it's potential. Player leaders: (QB) Sammy Baugh; (WR) Rob Eversleigh

(-2)22: Mojave Desert Lions (1-2)
The lions are not too flashy, they have some good pieces, but they don't seem to be good enough to compete with some of the top competition. The lions had fun in game 1, but don't seem to have the tools needed to be that competitive in such a strong conference. The schedule does not get any easier, and unless they muster out a few more wins in the first half they may finish with the same record as last season, and miss the playoffs once again. Player leaders: (CB) Victor Blaze

(-2)23: College Station Aggies (1-2)
The aggies have kept their games within grasp, but don't seem ready to become any kind of a threat yet. They will need to secure a few more wins to stay safe from relegation, but the chances of a .500+ record look glim. If they can make some moves they could be a very competitive team in a very tough division Player leaders: (QB) Butt Face

(+8)24: Kansas Twisters (1-2)
Well they won their game in the battle of the bottom feeders. If they win one more they may save themselves from relegation, but the chances of them being any kind of a factor this season are very doubtful. Player leaders: (LB) Derek Taylor

(-)25: Sacramento South Side Psychos (0-3)
Welcome to the A leagues, seems like this team was not ready for competition. They lost their home opener to a bottom feeder of season 2, and were not able to stop some of the better teams of the West. Their next few games are must wins, or they may be holding out for a handful of wins that surely won't take them to the playoffs.

(-2)26: Mile High Mustangs (0-3)
The Mustangs came out very strong last season, but are continuing their downward spiral from late last season. If they can't compete with the average teams of the West then their only hope is to be out the scrubs to ensure they stay safe from relegation. This team needs to dive into the FA or trade market to improve, and improve quickly. Player leaders: (DE) AL Goods

(-1)27: Dallas Texans (0-3)
The Texans barely saved themselves from relegation last season, but seem to be walking the line that may send them down a division this season. They need changes whether it be players or GMs. Whatever they are doing right now is not working, it's time to think outside the box, or you and the Extreme can help each other pack your bags for the demotion.

(-1)28: Blacksburg Gobblers (0-3)
The gobblers have put up a great fight against some of the best teams in the East. The Gobblers probably have thee hardest first four game schedule in all of USA A #3. If hey can survive these losses they may be able to rebound and put together a decent season.

(-3)29: Philadelphia Nightmare (0-3)
A sub par team that has little chance for a playoff run would be the Nightmare. Unfortunately they can't compete against some of the average competition. They can look forward to the rebuilding teams to stay safe from relegation, but other then that, this team has too many holes to fill in 1 season.

(-1)30: Buffalo Stampede (0-3)
Buffalo seems to want to compete with whose the worst team out East. They have a good chance of taking the title. They keep getting blown out, and help make the east look even weaker then it already is.

(-)31: Middle Tennessee Fightin' Catfish (0-3)
They let their 1 possible victory slip through their hands, is it time to pack it up for the BBB league already?

(-2)32: Austin Extreme (0-3)
This team belongs in the East with the rest of the rebuilding teams, poor placement equals another season of relegation.

Alright I changed the format up a little bit, and got a little more detailed then before. Hope you all like them, this will be the last one for a bit, since this is the last day at my hotel and I will probably be without internet for the next week or 2. I'll start them up again when I get back, unless someone better takes over.

Enjoy

Edited above for spell check reasons!

Nicely done as always. The pirates have grabbed the proverbial squirrel by the nuts, and are on our way back to dominance. Season 1 we were monsters, but got severely kicked in the balls in season 2 due to lack of depth. We had superb starters, but the changes in tactics really dazed our management. They had to get sober for a few weeks lay off the Rum. Put the wenches aside for a night or two, and really figure out some tactical stuff.

Looking forward to seeing Austin in the playoffs.

Good job Bice. The Panthers are hoping to beat a top team tomorrow. Our team considers the BearPigs to be a top team, but if you want to stay humble, that is cool.

Great job as usual, I appreciate the job you do. I do power rankings for one of my other leagues and ive only been able to get to them every other game because they are so time consuming.

Amazingly, the east has more votes for the best teams that the west in the coaches/players poll. So, it appears that although the competition is more fierce in the West, the East may have the better accumulation of teams! Regardless, It will be fun to see some of the matchups this season and ultimately week 16 will give us all a good insight to the playoffs.

This is my last login for ahwile due to me moving. A lot of the poorer teams are in the East, there are some good ones, but it's hard to get such a good read when there are around 4 rebuilding teams there. The west has Austin Rrangeblood which seems to be the top dog, but the next tier is only a small step down and really only 3 teams that are none factors. East has 2-3 really good teams then a huge drop off to just mediocre teams, then an even bigger drop for the rebuilding ones. GL everyone I am out!
