1) It appears that teams have figured out how to make a game of it with Gunny. So, IMO, they no longer hold down the #1 slot. I think it belongs to Blaze. They haven't been beaten by anyone since the loss to Gunny and I think they'd take them if they played again.
2) I don't believe Kia is unbeatable by any stretch. I have my suspicions that 2-4 teams in Alpha MAY deserve this spot above them, but you can't argue with their record. Hell, they're 23-1. Granted, there R scrims aren't against top teams, but that's not their fault. Until someone proves me wrong by beating them, I think they belong here.
3) Unfortunately for Gunny, they no longer look unbeatable. The loss to Minsk and OT W over the Shockers both reveal how to beat Gunny...Don't let their d score and at worst you give them a hell of a game. Alpine should give them a hell of a game and the Whores should probably beat them, if they are done with their vacation from trying. No disrespect, guys, but I think the odds of you getting out of the Alpha side in the POs just dropped hard. Still, what a @#$%@#$@#!$@!#$@!#$ amazing D. If only they had an O 1/4th that good, they'd be the odds on pick for WL gold.
4) Hali has put together an extremely nice ssn. Knowing damn well that Gart honestly doesn't GP for the O during reg ssn, I'm putting them here. If they figure out how to slow Kia's offense, I think they stand a VERY good chance of coming out of Zeta for the Gold game. If they don't, they'll lose a shoot out
5) This spot here is a major bitch. The Whores, Alpine, Shockers, Moose Jaw & Hounds all have legit claim to this spot. If it is true that the Whores are exclusively on auto pilot, they actually probably deserve the 3 or 4 spot, but I can't say I've really paid attention enough to say either way. If they aren't, one of the others deserve this spot. Not really knowing if they are or aren't makes it impossible for me to make this call
