I changed my mind and will update the rankings after each game. All picks are based off of standings, stats and my mystical powers (see baby in avatar). We're coming to the 1/4 point in the season and the teams are seperating themselves into three sections

------------------The Good----------------
1-ASRW- (5)- After a narrow escape from the Sharks, the Wallabies rock Zeta by taking down the top fox in amazing fashion. The blueprint of stopping Speedy Wonder, protecting their QB and Kenye West continuing his excellence spelled doom for the once mighty foxes. The offense was good but the defense played lights out. If they can beat the other Fiji next game, they may never vacate this spot again. Watch out for the Wallabies because they have some kick.
Top offensive threat- Kenye West- QB
2- Fiji Stingers- (2)- The Stingers haven't been tested yet, but that will change when ASRW comes to town.
Top offensive threat- this team buys into the hive mind mentality and has multiple small threats, all equally dangerous
3- Newcastle Mountain Lions- (3)- The Newcastle D is perfect, not letting a single point to be score so far. The shutout could continue until game 6
Top offensive threat- The O-line, they'll make any HB look good and keep the QB's pants fresh and white.
4- Guadalcanal Gunners- (4)- This team (mine) has gone on the offensive, always attacking, always moving forward. Unfortunately it hasn't yet been against a quality opponent so their meddle hasn't been tested under heavy fire.
Top offensive threat- Cinco and Tha Ghost- Both Hb's are gashers that can carry it to the house.
(5) Fiji Flying Foxes- (1)- I debated about dropping them this far, but against their first quality opponent they failed to live up to expectations. They have all the tools to go deep and I pity anyone above them in these standings as the foxes open hunting season.
Top Offensive Threat- Speedy Wonder HB, should rename himself to Superman as he jump over tall cornerbacks, stop a speeding linebacker and more powerful than locomotive
----------------The Somewhat Bad------------------
6- Tasmanian Swarm- (7)- A team on the rise that has scraped and clawed it's way to a 2 game winning streak.
Top offensive threat- Zlaton Cannon HB, with his gaudy 8.5 ypc, the only question is why isn't he getting more rush attempts.
7- WSP- (9)- They've won two games but against the bottom dwellers of the conference. Are they for real? Only time will tell.
Top offensive threat- HB Christopher Pumanski but HB Rob Sanders is no slouch either. They find the hole and slide right through.
8- Hamilton Falcons- (10)- I've been on record bashing their personell but they keep on climbing the ladder. Winning a game against a team that looked better on paper may provide the spark that carries them to the playoffs.
Top offensive threat- Their waterboy
9- Dharma Initiative- (8)- I love Lost but it's always a cliffhanger. You're always left wondering what happened. And they walk around and talk a lot but never actually do much. Welcome to the Dharma Initiative, Namaste.
Top offensive threat- The smoke monster, but i don't know what position he/she/they/it plays.
10- Rockhampton Raiders- (6) The Raiders have gigantic talent but so far like a bully when they get punched in the nose they run home and cry alone in their bedroom. Expect them to beat the crap out of the kids in the bottom of the class and to get kicked from those above them.
Top offensive threat- Jerry Dorsey QB who has tried like hell to keep the Raiders raiding.
11- Devonport Devils- (13)- Do Devils have pulses, because these showed a sign of one last game (a win vs the Perth Pirates). They may not move up a whole lot this season but I have a feeling they'll be putting some teams into the ground
Top offensive threat- Sharpe Armstrong QB, with a 7.2 yds/comp, he may turn this club around on sheer willpower.
------------------------The Ugly----------------------
12- Brisbane Troyfins-(12) A tough opening schedule has hurt this teams morale. The next two games don't look good for them either, we'll see what they're made of.
Top offensive threat- Str8n True- he's made all of his FG attempts so far
13- Redcliffe Sharks- (11) I want to say good things about this team but the next four games look brutal for them. Good luck.
Top offensive threat- Karl Barth Kr/Pr, he's had plenty of practice and he gets decent yardage.
14- Perth Pirates- (14) They're fighting hard and should surprise a few teams as they grow.
Top offensive threat- Fat's Mcgee OT likes to make pancakes. Big boy is hungry for more.
15- Lexington Armada- (16) moves up a spot solely based on having more humans than the Mantas.
Top offensive threat- Myron Finklebush K has made all his fg attempt.
16- Noumea Mantas- (15) http://youtube.com/watch?v=vl0xTMf1nTc&feature=related
Top offensive threat- The team doctor
