Since no one else in our Conf has given this a whirl, I guess I will give it a shot.

We have some big mismatches, and one big time game this week.

Let's start with the mismatches :

The Longhorn Legion will dominate on pure numbers alone. The CPU players are just not enough to match up with the Horns, so Newark falls to 0 - 3.

The Blackshirts will bounce back from a disappointing loss last week (on a long field goal) to face the powder puff league Windsor Rebels. Blackshirts back to their winning ways.

While I hate to bet on the Soooners, it looks like they have a little too much firepower to allow Naples to sneak away with a win here. Sooners, in a closer than expected matchup.

The Pirates of Bolderslev are looking for some booty, but don't find it against the Victoria Assassins. Victoria eeks by Bolderslev on the strength of its O line and kicker.

In a very even match up, the Romantics and Cauchemars butt heads. A very back and forth game goes to the Cauchemars thanks to the golden arm of Y.A. Tittle. Tittle pulls this one out late for his team.

Yorktown gets an easy draw this week as they take on the Mavericks. While Yorktown isn't the powerhouse of the league, they do prove dominating in this laugher and get another mark in the win column.

***UPSET SPECIAL OF THE WEEK***
After a heart breaking loss on a 75 yard TD pass late in the third quarter, Berlin CH 4 News gets a little revenge on one of the division leaders -- The Turin Breakers. Thanks to another superb performance for the Newyark SackExchange (why do i always want to say it like I imagine Chris Berman would?), Berlin hangs in there to pull this one out and join the ranks of the winning.

***GAME OF THE WEEK***
Two division leaders square off in what is sure to be a great game. Rotterdam has been smoking the competitition (albeit two cellar dwellars), while Hamburg has two solid wins under its belt. Unfortunately, Rotterdam goes Gangster on Hamburg and pulls away in the second half for a convincing win. Rotterdam holds the Zeta top spot for a third straight week in anticipation of a showdown with the Blackshirts next week.

Maybe next week for that upset special. I like that you called it an upset anyway.

Appreciate the pick as upset of the week. I'm still new to coordinating, trying to figure out what works. :s

GG penaltie GG

Two really tough games in the first three. I'm glad I faced you now, when I'm still figuring out what works, than later in the season when it would've mattered a lot more.

See you in the playoffs, haha....

i think a couple plays really made the difference. our pick in our endzone when you would've tied it. also we had a near fumble lost on the edge of your endzone. two close plays that could have changed things drastically.

Game 4 matchups :

A couple of pretty solid matchups this week, and a few toilet bowls with the lower teams should make for some good football. Let's get started.

The Longhorns aren't the Romantic type and go Zeus on the the lovebirds as they rock Venice in a runaway matchup. Horns stay undefeated.

The News Team from Berlin finally right the ship and send Newark to new depths at 0 - 4 on the season. Sackexchange comes up big and the offense makes Sheppards Pie out of the Nomads. Ch 4 evens up at 2 - 2 on the season.

Yorktown is rolling, and the Pirates are taking it in the ass after last week's loss. Too much firepower from the Generals, although the game stays close. Y-Town with the dubya.

Turin has no plans of slowing down this week, and puts the Boom to the Sooners. OU sucks the big one in this laugher. Turin still on top of the league.

In the Prelude to the Toilet Bowl, we have the Mavs and the Tormentors fighting to stay competitive this season. While the Mavs have made some moves to shore up their roster, the Tormentors have a little too much gas in the tank for the Mavs to keep up. Tormentors on a winning streak.

In the Toilet Bowl for this week, the Rebels and Cauchemar (WTF is a Cauchemar?) waste everyone's time in the most boring game of the year. Both teams put up baseball scores, with Cauchemar evening up on the year.

***UPSET SPECIAL***
Well, I bet against the Gangsters last week in the matchup of the week and they proved me wrong. I hate to bet against them again this week, but the Assassins are rolling and won't be slowed down. Assassins avoid the shank and pull this one out to go to 3 - 1 on the season.

***Game of the Week***
Rotterdam is reeling after a close loss to Hamburg and looks to even the score against the blackshirts. I gotta back my Big 12 mates in this one as the Blackshirts prove too strong for the Cheetahs sending them to their second straight loss.

Last week :
4-4
Season :
4-4

Good luck all.

Jason

It's unromantic to be unromantic. Levels aren't everything. *kiss kiss*
