Warrior General Games

It had been discussed in the last few days, win or lose in the final if we would continue on. Our decision has been made to go non-competitive from this point on. I've already submitted the support ticket to be dropped to Silver and hopefully they will respect that. We who run the Outlaws love this game, addicted maybe? But this game is also very time and energy consuming. We have wives and kids and feel the time and attention should be more concentrated on them. It is true what everybody says, there is no other league like this one. You must game plan every two days to ensure that you will be victorious. Some of these games maybe only 15-30 minutes. But there have been times I have worked on this beast for hours to dot my i's and cross my t's. So, we're gonna take some time off. Will we be back, I'm not sure? Will we still be lingering somewhere in Gold, you bet your ass. I have nothing but great respect for everyone who plays this game. Because we all know the sacrifice it takes to get to this level and be successful at it. With that said, I no longer want to feel guilty for the time and attention I deprive my children of because I choose GLB over them. In order to do that, I have to sacrifice the game. Good luck to you all, and like I said, we'll still be around somewhere.

Congratulations again to LordEvil and the Short Bus Window Lickers. Just a remarkable season for them. I knew it was only a matter of time you'd be the Champ, was just hoping it wasn't going to be at our expense. I suspect 5-10 more if you're around until season 25.

Crazy, the 3rd or 4th gold team to drop... I respect the decision Family > GLB always. TO will always be remembered in Pee Wees and maybe you will get the Wonkas up to gold in season 17 so you can be right back into gold action

With Dharma dropping in Season 17 it looks like gold will completely be remade of all new teams

Ah brother, I couldn't have said it better myself. Outside of saying I couldn't run the Horde anymore, I didn't know how to articulate it any better than this. Single dad here. Got a young lady who loves being around me and complains when I sit on this game for hours.

With the warmer weather coming, it's nice to get outside more. Spent the entire day outside with her today... why? Because I had no game planning to do. LOL All the respect in the world for you, your team and your decision DD. Maybe try to come back when the weather gets colder ehh? Good luck to ya sir! I applaude your decision.

I've already discussed this also with the owner of the Wonkas, and my brother and I will no longer coordinate for that team.

Completely understand your decision, it's a massive time commitment to do it right (and eventually you lose your desire to keep doing it).

Thanks brogrim, yeah you know exactly what I'm talking about. I have two daughters, 3 and 1 1/2. My youngest is always sitting on my lap when I'm at this computer, she's daddies girl. My oldest, she breaks my heart. Always tugging at me saying, daddy come play with me, daddy come sit with me, daddy come watch Dora with me. My reply, daddy will be there in a minute honey, but it's never a minute. The TV becomes my babysitter and I feel like a real piece of shit. So, I'll be watching alot of Dora, playing God knows what, doing her "dancy dance, and loving every minute of it.

Ahh yes, The Legends Of The Shoe. This is the one team we are going to continue to mess with. I'll be able to mess with it when the girls go to bed, so it shouldn't be much of a problem. So who knows, in a couple of months it might be the Legends that you see in Gold.

Exactly, a commitment I no longer can give so much time to. My ladies definitely helped in losing that desire.
