Our time is up.
An overwhelming majority of our roster is retiring this season, and even if I managed to put in the time and effort once AGAIN to field a decent roster, the seasonal changes coupled with the hard work you have to put in game in game out for the exceptional teams up here is just too much to put up with -- especially when you have only 1 or 2 guys doing everything.
We'll be merging with the(well, what's left of us) Pirgos Warlords, into another team in WEPL who will be receiving everything. This move is the best for all 3 organizations and should hopefully lead to positive results. As you may have noticed, the team has already gone CPU -- and there's maybe 3 or 4 players that aren't retiring or merging so I'd advise you not to waste your time PMing everyone but won't stop you.
We were originally an Africa A7 season 5 expansion team and very successful every season in existence -- except these last 2 in APL. I have to give a shoutout to the Silverbacks (Zambezi) and Storm who are still going strong...had an awesome rivalry with both teams from S11 in AA7 onwards and wouldn't change it for anything (minus the conference finals loss to Zambezi by 3 points....wish I could go back and alter the gameplan to run even more! That loss still stings..). I'm proud to have been part of such a great organization from top to bottom, with some of the best agents and staff in GLB. Mikey79, delain3, NickS, WinkyD, and jaydoggsf...the original owner of SSM...are what made us who we are, I'd list all the loyal agents but that'd take forever

Good luck in S16 to everyone still hanging in there! GLB really does seem more like work then fun when you don't have a committed group working together.
