This is it. 4 teams fighting for the chance to win into WL. The oddity of the system that has been created is that this has really become the important game of the POs, with the Gold Cup being more of a bonus.
D9 vs Sahara....No disrespect to Zambezi in the least. They outplayed Sahara for 2 quarters, pretty much played them even 1 and had a tragic meltdown in the 3rd that cost them the game. Still, when the final PO seeding was set, I was convinced that Sahara would come out of that side. That said, the other thought I had upon looking at the seedings was "Oh, shit...The 2nd game is going to be a bitch." You have my utmost respect, CWE.
.....So, that brings us to Sahara and D9, the other team I wanted to play least. I'm taking the alien mutant shrimp. what kind of an owner would I be to pick us to lose this game?
Carthage vs the Hogs....It seems poetically just that Ele comes down to this: the team with only 1 L vs the team that gave them the L. Both are incredibly good teams. In the first match up, the Hogs did just enough on the ground to keep Cartage's O off the field enough to claim the W. I honestly think it is a toss up game. They probably split 5-5 or 6-4 at worst, out of 10. So, I'm flipping a coin and the coin tells me the Hogs (seriously did).
