First off, good luck to all in the post season. This is a great league with great teams and that was proven by the stiff competition we witnessed all season long. We've developed a number of great rivalries and great friendships along the way and hope that those will continue into the future. As you know, the ownership/coaching staff of the Dublin Dragons decided NOT to feed Bort's Beta Money Machine for season 15 and therefore did not call for "official" team wide playoff boosting. Without going into specifics here, many of you are aware of (and have joined) the increasing number of Pee Wee teams who are joining in a like minded coalition to draw attention to changes that are needed within the Pee Wee system. Whether Dublin joins this coalition or not, as an owner, I certainly stand with and support those who believe that change is needed and will at the very least lend my voice to those concerns whenever needed.

From a competitive standpoint, we believe we made our statement by going 16-0 in the regular season and wish to convey that our lack of competitiveness in the playoffs (i.e. not boosting) is in no way intended to weaken the playoff pool or show disrespect to those who are competing for a championship. We hope you understand our position. Again, good luck to you all and to the eventual S15 champs of Silver 6. See you next season.

I also am really anti-boosting. We only had two players (two OL) boost. Somehow we still made it through the last two games, but it EXTREMELY difficult to win in the playoffs if you don't boost. We were very solid in the regular season the last two seasons, and just got manhandled in the playoffs. The major owners on my team, myself included, just don't feel like you should have to pay money to be competitive on here, so we don't shell out a bunch of bones for playoff boosting. I'd love to see a situation where that doesn't effectively DQ us from a championship run.

Pinfish will also encourage people to NOT boost, however, should we make it to the playoffs and people start boosting on other teams that we face we would probably do the same. So we are more than happy to not boost if others are like minded and do the same.

That's kind of the catch 22 in this whole thing: Wanting to compete, especially when you make the playoffs and see other teams boosting but staying disciplined enough not to boost in order to send the message to Bort that the flex buy/refund system in pee wee needs restructuring. It's not going to be an easy thing, but we've decided we're going to do it and the more teams that are on board with the idea, the quicker it gets the attention of administration. I love GLB and pee wee but I'm not spending $30-40 a season to collect pixelated trophies. Pee Wee is really Bort's cash cow so let's starve the bitch instead of making it fatter.

My team won't boost regaurdless of making the playoffs or not. I'd love to get the "pixelated trophy" but I wont buy it. I do think it sould be a question for every owner to decide for themselves, it is their money after all. A non-boosting league would be awesome but won't ever happen. Maybe Bort would be willing to move the teams that have pledged not to boost into leagues together. There would still be nothing to stop someone from boosting exept the pledge not to. That might be worth a try.

Like I said, I will urge my team to not boost. And if others in silver 6 do the same we won't have any issues. So lets 'starve the bitch' as an entire league!

I'm in the same boat as I think most others. If other teams don't boost I'm perfectly content to just try and out-gameplan people as intended to get the win. However, if people on my team are willing to boost and the team we're playing in the playoffs has boosted, I'm not going to just basically forfeit the game to try and make a point that probably won't even be noticed by Bort or Catch. So....i'm all in for not boosting but if i have to for playoffs to get back on a level playing field i'll do what i have to do.
