I went 4-3 in my round 1 playoff predictions, running my season record to 49-22. Holy crap, both #1 seeds are out, and the championship is wide open, if you ask me. Game #3. 14th St Bucs #5 vs Laing Braves #8. I know I am not the most observant person in the world, and I know this because my friend Dave is, but that is another story altogether. But, how long has the owner of the 14th St Bucs been the DC of the KC Chaos? Just curious. Game #4. Iowa Farmers #2 vs Broadneck Bruins #6. Okay, here we have a boosted team, vs a non-boosted team. Guess who I am picking? Yup, my alma mater team wins. Look, I usually don’t do this, but I will go on a tangent for a minute. Some people really don’t like boosting, I get that. However, it is part of the game. GLB does not run itself, and the Bort-egians need to make a buck or 5 to keep it running. So, they give people the option to buy CEQ and boost players. It is not very different than the Yankees having the highest payroll in baseball. Life is not fair, never will be. Some A-holes live to be 95 years old (see Al Davis). Some awesome people die way too young. Life is not fair. Personally, I think peewee league should have a 1 level boost limit, just for the sake of sportsmanship, but as long as teams are playing within the rules, everything is open game, and do whatever you think it takes to win.
