i think my guy is okay for a level 10 C, but should i build his speed?

heres what i am ultimately aiming for
stamina 30 (now 24)
vision 30 (now 21)
confidence 20 (now 11)

would that be about right?

No.. because your a center, and dont need to get outside to the edges.... and your stamina is REAL high already.. i'd DEFINATELY be aiming at a lot of Strength and Blocking skill points for awhile

It doesn't hurt to build a little bit of speed. If you get to where you pancake regularly it will help you get to the MLB. But don't spend points on it, only train, and even then only to 15-20 and after you have gotten up your vision confidence and agility.

Train it every now and then when you can.

For centers and guards I think agility and speed in the 20s is very important. I'm not sure about going beyond the 20s. I say this because I've noticed that interior lines with low speed never end up blocking LBs. The center and guard will either stick on a DT double team, never rolling off to pick up LB, or will simply miss the LB altogether, allowing average LBs the freedom run down plays for 2-3 yard gains.

I just built an OT with SPD and pancakes in mind. My thought is to get the initial pancake and get a body in the second level blocking. Its like having an extra blocker...hopefully Would be great for a power running game.

I just started him though, so we'll see...

I think speed is incrediably overrated for centers

what percentage of plays do you get pancakes in so you can 'run down the field and block the lineblacker" ridiculous
