So far, all my predictions from my week 12 post came true except for the Lone Star games. They are making me eat my words! Nice job LS!

With one game left, here are my predictions for the playoffs...

#1 Tombstone Outlaws = made a big statement with that huge win over MMD. Has already wrapped up the #1, but last game is against House of Krazees, but they are no threat. Tombstone will finish 14-2.

#2 Chicago 85'Bears = though I talked big, I was surprised we beat ACS. Our last game is against WVWP, which I have yet to beat, but I think my Bears can pull it off in a close one. Predicted finish of 12-4.

#3 Mississippi Mud Dogs = bad loss to Tombstone, but are they able to bounce back and knock off Lone Star, who has pulled off 2 upsets in a row? I think they can. MMD to finish 12-4.

#4 Cleveland Horde = The Agency gave them a good game, but Cleveland prevailed. I think it will be more of the same when they face the Gulls. Cleveland will finish 11-5.

#5 Requiem Revolver = after a tough loss to Lone Star, they face a demotion bound Boston for their last game. The skid will come to an end with a RR win. RR will finish 10-5-1.

#6 Cascade Surly Goats = the Goats were able to stop their 4 game skid with a win over Boston today. They face The Agency next, a tough team, but I think the Goats can pull it out. Goats should finish 10-6.

#7 Wood Village Whistle Pigs = after winning 5 of their last 6, they will face a red hot Bears team. It will be a tough fight, but I think the Bears will just edge them. Predicted finish of 10-6.

#8 Lone Star Mercenaries or Atlantic City Surf or New Orleans Pee Wees? All of these teams will finish 9-7 with Lone Star securing a playoff win with an upset of MMD. I don't think this will happen, so it will come down to a tie breaker. Problem is each of these 3 teams has beat one and lost one to the other teams, so no clue how the tie breaker will work out.

If Pigs hadn't screwed up the DAI against Boston, the Chicago/Pigs game would be for the 2nd seed. Instead we may finish 7th...shows you how close the league is.

We're in a fun spot. A MMD win and Bears loss, we finish 2nd. A MMD loss and a WVWP win and we finish fourth. Bears win and we win, we finish third.

It's pretty much a lock that ACS (The U!) and NOPW (Strain) will win. They'd all be 1-1 vs each other (NOPW over LSMM, ACS over NOPW, LSMM over ACS), so it's points allowed. Currently the points allowed are:
**LSMM - 217
**ACS - 218
**NOPW - 262

So NOPW is pretty much done. ACS will likely shutout the U! This only matters if LSMM loses, and they won't lose throwing a shutout, so ACS would advance.

BUT...it would get even tricker if the Goats lose to the Agency. They should, but it's no gimme.

But if that happens, I believe the 7th & 8th seeds would go to the two teams who went 2-1 vs the others. That would mean that LSMM & NOPW would advance to the playoffs.

So with 1 week left, there are 10 teams mathematically eligible for the 8 spots.

Gerr - "Lone Star Mercenaries = currently at 7-5, but has a brutal final 4 games against Cleveland, Goats, RR, & MMD. Only chance for a playoff spot is run the table, and that's highly unlikely. Predicted finish of 7-9."
