Well, here we are sports fans, just thought I'd have a crack at doing this.

Please note that all comments within are entirely my opinion, feel free to disagree all you wish, just try to keep the flaming to a minimum. And my winning margins are likely to be WAY off.

Surabaya Tigers v Hong Kong Valley Knights

Well, the Tigers have been pretty devastating in their first 2 games, scoring 76 points. A few questions about their depth, but with the starting roster that good, their opponents are usually dead and buried by the time they have to come off. With the Valley Knights' Rushing Defense being as well ventilated as it is, they will probably struggle to contain the Tigers, who I see continuing their winning ways for this game at least.

Tigers by 14.

Mean Street Metalheads v Phuket Blazers

This week sees the first real test for the Metalheads, as they face a Blazers team looking for revenge
after going down to the Wastes last round. While the Metalheads did have 2 big wins to start the season, the quality of their opposition left a bit to be desired, and I'm not sure if they can handle the Blazers passing game.

Blazers by 7.

Portland Microbrews v Yokohama Yaks

Possible 'Game of the Week' here, as two undefeated teams have at each other. Going purely off the matchup page its hard to split them, with both having one good WR and a resonable #2 and #3, but I feel the Microbrews were a little fortunate to beat Hanoi in round 1, while the Yaks thrashed them. That record could be a sign of which is the better team, guess we'll find out.

Yaks by 6.

Riverside Kings v Tiananmen Square Dancers

The Kings have a very balanced starting lineup, with no obvious weak spots, the same cannot be said of the Square Dancers unfortunately, who lack a decent Kicker/Punter. And the kicking duties may be what splits these two teams, a hard game to call, but there can only be one winner.

Kings by 3.

Southern Wastes v Kenosha Bootleggers

Two teams at opposite ends of the table face off here, and the current form of both teams is liekly to continue. The Wastes have had 2 dominating -if not particularly spectacular (Def TD by the DE notwithstanding)- wins to open their accounts, while the Bootleggers have struggled to put points on the board. With their biggest CB being lvl8 (and he a CPU player) they will struggle to contain the Wastes passing offense, while their O-line will have a hard day keeping the Wastes front 7 out of their backfield. Expect a one sided game here.

Wastes by 21+

Vietnam Veterans v Toungoo Tigers

The Veterans face the OTHER Tigers team this round, but these Tigers would give them half the trouble the last bunch did. With only 4 players in double digits, Zeobi's boys are going to be in for a long, long day.

Veterans by 21+

Hanoi Heat v Shanghai Steelers

Battle of the winless teams here, a time to sort out the unlucky from the unprepared. Hanoi could consider themselves unlucky to lose in Round 1, and are probably good enough to see off a Steeler team which seems to be a bit soft, especially in defense.

Heat by 10

Cebu Matador v Monte Cristo Avengers

Another of the bottom of the table clashes, with both teams being thrashed in their opening 2 games. Both teams have some problems with their lineup, Cebu being short on depth in a few key positions, while the Avengers are lacking quality receivers. Monte Cristos best hope may be to run the Matador into the ground, wear them out and pile on as many points as they can late in the game, and hope they dont give away too many before that.

Matador by 7.

And there we have it folks, if you like my work I may continue doing this for the rest of the season. If you want me to STHU then feel free to say so (try to do it politely), and I will.

However, your assumption of our Tired Players are incorrect

Been thinking about it. Doubt I'm going to get many winning margins right, would be lucky if I get more then 1-2 this week (Wastes v Bootleggers and Veterans v Tigers I think are pretty safe bets) and some of the games were difficult to call. But I'll see how I go. The worst it can be is a Total Disaster

I'm not sure the margins matter other than the fun in guessing at them. Good write up on the games.

Well, I hope your wrong about the Steelers defense being soft. My DT is looking to improve though and maybe that will make a difference.

Nice assessments. We coaches of the MetalHeads have been losing a lot of sleep over how to handle the Phuket passing game.
