Western Conference
State College Spikes (12-1) vs. Aabenraa Pirates (12-1)
This is certainly one of the most exciting games of the season and a very highly anticipated match up. The winner gains the upper hand in playoff seeding, although nothing is certain for the Spikes, because even with a win they still have to play the Crocs next week.
Both teams have well balanced offensive attacks that include over 3500 yards through the air and another 4000+ yards on the ground. The Spikes have a small advantage in those numbers, but not by much. I think that the big key to this game will turn out to be ball control. If Aabenraa can keep the ball in their possession for 35 minutes, I think they will win. If not, the Spikes will end up beating up their very thin defensive secondary.

Eastern Conference
Northeastern Ninjas (10-3) vs. Scranton Wilkes-Barre Menzingers (10-3)
The battle for home field advantage is on the line in this game, and both teams look strong. Scranton has already shown that they have the most prolific passer in the league with Bray Allen, but the Ninjas have a strong passer of their own in Lincoln Haver that can't be dismissed.
The Ninjas have a far superior defensive secondary that may be able to slow Scranton down. Unfortunately, Scranton may slow themselves down with such a small roster of only 38 human owned players. Regardless of the winner, I expect to see a high scoring shootout that very well may come down to who has the ball last.
