And what works better, tagging as a rusher or as speedy?

Thanks

It makes no difference what you tag him as; the important part is making sure that it matches the Defensive AI input.

The tag alone means nothing.

Will you give me an example? I've got custom D that spies the QB in the I formation, for example. The DAI is set for I form, 1 through 4 downs, yards left blank, 2 WRs, Tagged QB as rusher, everything else left as default, yet when my last opponent rushed out of the I formation, a different play was used. And yes, Enable Defense AI is checked.

QB must be tagged as X using the Scout tool
Input must have X listed as in at QB
X is usually Rushing but could be anything as long as it matches your input.

You have to tag the QB in your scouting page and in your defensive input that you're setting up to stop him. I personally never spy the QB. I've found that the defender just waits on the QB and by then it's too late to stop him as he just blows by your defender because the defender took a bad angle to the ball. Usually in the lower leagues, as I'm in, the spy doesn't work as the defender is too late to react.

Thanks for the replies. Last question, how do you access the scout tool?

Click on the team you're about to play and it will pull up a matchup screen. Click on the team again and it will take you to their profile page. Next to their name it will say scout. Click on that and it will give you three ways to scout their team. Roster, offense, and defense. The roster section is where you tag a player as rusher, passer, speedy or whatever. Whatever you tag them as just make sure you tag them the same in your DAI or it won't fire. In the offense section is where you can check what their best offensive plays are and which ones they run the most and so on. Same thing for their defense on the defense section. This is a very important tool to use if you want to be competitive in GLB. It's also very time consuming. Have fun with it and good luck. Also once you tag their players and set up your AI make sure to test your AI's to make sure it's calling the inputs and outputs that you've installed.

Another thing to mention, at least with my AI. When tagging a player, the input has to be the first input in the AI (at the top). This is the only way it will work for me in order to have that played called on that tagged player.
