After many seasons of playing with more than a handful of you, its time for me to hang it up for good.

The reasons behind this are the new changes to the game, in which I strongly, strongly oppose. As most of you may know I handle EVERY aspect of this team, and with all these new changes coming for next season this will only add to my workload. These new changes are taking the fun away from the game for me and turning this into a full-time job.

I signed up for this to be my stress breaker from my shitty job, and my nagging wife, and life in general. Now with the apparent addition of Catch to the rank of admins, this game will keep changing in a manner in which im not pleased with. Im strongly against what Catch and Bort are doing, by not asking their customers about changing the game. I personally shell out over 40000 flex each season, and now im done. I will no longer purchase any more flex, and when this season comes to an end I will not even log on, I will leave GLB entirely, because im so disgusted with the new changes.

It has personally been a pleasure and honor to work with each and everyone of you. We've had a very long and successsful journey together, and im saddened it will be ending this way. Anways if anyone is looking to purchase the team (in which I have ownership extended through S21 Day 40) please let me know.

THIS WILL NOT HURT US THIS SEASON, AS I WANT TO GO OUT WITH A TITLE, AND GIVE BORT AND CATCH A NICE FUCK YOU ON THE WAY OUT

If you have any questions please post here or you can even pm me!

you will be missed, that is for sure. I completely agree and understand. The more changes they make the less I want to continue.

Have you even seen how much time these new changes would take?

People bitching about these changes, frankly, are the reason so many things DON'T GET DONE. Three changes roll out, all of them bringing something to the game that was more or less needed. On top of that, Bort is willing to make separate leagues where the degree of complexity will differ, so just hang on and you'll get your easier leagues.

The reason there are so many changes is because they're TRYING to get this game to a point where small changes are the norm, not big ones. Once that's the case, this game will basically be ready to move out of BETA. Will this happen? Maybe, maybe not.

Just try the damn thing, and if you don't like it, THEN QUIT. Don't quit when you don't even know how easy/difficult this thing could be.

You guys?

And how are these things breaking the balance of the sim? The only thing that even effects the sim is the morale reserve and coaches, which doesn't seem like it'll really skew things.

I suggest you figure out what they do before you start bitching about em.

or maybe people already know how much time they are already putting into coordinating duties and see a bunch more "work" about to be added. Most coordinators know how much time the job takes and this INCLUDES coordinating builds and helping players with overall direction so they have to keep on top of everything, not just coordinating jobs.

This is really the biggest problem with GLB and that is that coordinating is no longer a stress relief/fun but instead a pure job. The only things that help coordinators are greasemonkey scripts and Bort is about to put a serious disadvantage on this by using flash replay. Bort's version of scout script is a worthless and yet he's moving away from what works for coordinators. Finding management staff is probably the hardest thing to do and now GLB is making it harder.

This is what admin doesn't seem to understand.

Enlighten me, oh knowledgeable one. As far as I can see, the training system has very little direct impact on the sim, just player building. Therefore, the new training system will have an INDIRECT impact on the sim, just like everything else does.

Coaches = direct impact

Financial system isn't going to have much of an impact outside of the morale reserve nonsense. Most of it will impact your teams finanes (:omg and not so much their performance on the field.

There is a discussion thread just starting up on the TS about making the AI easier, less time consuming, improving the scouting system (which I'll be honest, the only part of the Scout area that I use is the tags), etc. IDK what will come of it, but I understand the coordinating system is time consuming.

- Less complex leagues are being talked about
- Making AI simpler discussions on the TS
- Easier when you have a front office in place (I understand some like to do everything, but it's not a realistic goal)
- If you're purely an OC/DC, these changes won't add more work to your plate, unless you are very hands on with player builds.

just starting up? This should have been apart of the major changes discussion from the beginning. Some of the stuff that would make it easier have been discussed but Bort doesn't seem to want to go into it.

- AIs associated with a player and not a team. When I stopped DCing due to time issues, I lost everything. Now if I ever want to start up again, it will be from scratch.
- front shouldn't be necessary and someone should be able to run the team if they want. Yes, its easier to have help and in some ways more enjoyable but it seems like Bort wants to make it impossible to run a team solo which is just a plain bad idea.

It's been mentioned in passing many times, but when there are sim issues, additions, etc. being added, things like that get put on the back burner.

Player owned AIs are being talked about, too.
