I am betting the money that a team may have are the same as if they had taken a voluntary demotion to your upcoming cap level without taking the stadium hit.

BTW...I read at least 5 pages of that thread and there were mostly negative comments. These changes are about it for my interest in this game as a team owner. I'll most likely be merging my team with another team next year as my friend and I already don't have enough time. I'll have to give up OC/DCing for the other team I do that for. That owner doesn't have time anymore so he said "you run or I'm getting rid of it" a couple of seasons ago. That team will be left behind too. I believe this is the effect these changes will bring.

And what is with all these morale bonuses and crap. Are they trying to make this into Madden Franchise Mode or something?

When it says 1 promo per home game does that mean 1 All Season and 1 -1game bonus, or one or the other?

Basically if I purchase Cheerleaders, that works for all 8 games, does that mean that I couldnt buy Player appreaciation days since I already have cheerleaders? Or are the Seasonal and 1 game bonuses viewed seperately?

Are there going to be more league divisions or not?

--Mini Helmet Day - $12,000,000. +7 to all players Morale Reserve Bonus and a small bonus (+1% to all attributes) to the home team's abilities for the entire game.
--Player Appreciation Day - $16,000,000. +8 to all players Morale Reserve Bonus and a small bonus (+5% to all attributes) to a selected player's abilities for the entire game.

Wow...for 4 Mil more you get +1 Morale Reserve and +4% to all attributes....I think that is a bit overpowered. I'd consider 2 or 3 Percent instead.

AFAIK there will be

Hardcore - The first version as well as MORE advances stuff like more custom DC slots and more advanced AI options etc....

Normal - What we have now w/ these revised changes

Casual - Current Casual w/ these revised changes

Basic - No Financials at all and Casual Tactics....JUST PLAY

The other question I have regarding this league salary cap is, does it also include any CPU owned or Human owned with a large amount of CPU player teams in it's calculations, this was never addressed. If their average salary, ticket sales, etc. are included when computing the salary caps it will ultimately reduce the overall salary caps for those teams that try to fill their rosters with human players.

We already have too many CPU teams, so lets stratify it all some more and make the leagues even more piss-poor. Yay! Can't wait!

Except that the $16,000,000 option only effects 1 player for that game not the entire team.

CPU teams should not count towards salary cap calcs tbh, or teams with X number of CPU players.

That is exactly what will happen because certain people like myself don't fit in any of those scenarios and will just leave once I see this come into play. However, I am sure there will be plenty of people to leave before me. I would prefer a Basic with no Finances, no Coaching & the current tactics they have in the Upper Leagues. If this isn't possible I will just take my money elsewhere. For now, I am just sitting back and waiting as I wouldn't leave until I burned all my FP's anyway which may take a Season or 2 with player's retiring that will never be a Coach!
