Let your voices be heard against the proposed salary cap and creation of six tiered league levels.

Why would we do that when the ideas are good? If anything, they don't go far enough with the finances. If they establish new leagues with more powerful rules, then we both get what we want (I can move and you can stay) and neither of our opinions have to be deemed more important than the other's.

Ouch maybe you haven't seen what's coming.

They deleted the other thread and restarted it. Trust me, I'm opposed to the ideas not because they are bad but because people will quit and reduce the player pool if they do it.

You're linking to the financial thread. Those changes only affect team owners. Why would they have any impact on the player pool?

Salary cap - good
Morale reserve - good
Hardcore leagues - good
Super Casual leagues - good

What's the problem?

The people that are complaining are the ones that simply see changes and complain about it. If you actually take the time to read you will see that it will help the game get to a better point where casual players and hardcore players each have the type of game they want. These changes are all for the better of the game. People will quit either way it goes. More people will welcome these changes than those who will not. The majority of people who like a change don't post their feelings, you only see the complainers, and that is why you think so many people will quit.

agreed
Morale reserve - good
meh, whatever
Hardcore leagues - good
Thats OK with me, but leave the casual leagues alone ..they are fine the way they are. Don't force people to go hardcore.
Super Casual leagues - good
Not Good...too many leagues already....need more dots not more leagues.

And you left out the most aggravating one to me.

Coaches -....bullshit money grab...
spending flex for a retired player to sit and do nothing....and according to Catch would only be a minute advantage to have???
I can go along with all the other fluff but the coaches BS fries my ass...

What's the problem?

The problem is GLB is not listening to the people who put the beans on their table

These changes are for the betterment of Bort....Period. And you're right, people will quit either way... A whole lot more will quit though
if these changes are rammed down peoples throats.

And by looking at your join date....you might not have been around when they put the poll up a couple of seasons ago about coaches.
The majority of paying customers rejected the idea handily. And they would again if given the opportunity...

And since this time Bortso won't even put up a poll, I guess you will never know, will you? And as for your statement about complainers,
people who are in business, who don't feel a need to listen to complaints from paying customers, don't stay in business very damn long.

Bort and Catch strongly implied existing leagues would be removed to create the Hardcore and Super Casual Leagues.

They'll probably start here:
http://goallineblitz.com/game/league.pl?league_id=62
http://goallineblitz.com/game/league.pl?league_id=90
http://goallineblitz.com/game/league.pl?league_id=58

As for coaches ... you just pointed out it's going to be a small bonus, so what's the big deal? If you don't want to make coaches, then don't make coaches.

The big deal is...whatever the bonus is, its an advantage...and teams who want to be competitive will be forced to by flex for coaches.
I didn't need coaches last week to win games...and I don't need coaches next week to win games.
I don't see a need to ever need coaches......Its all fluff and a bullshit cash grab.

As for removing AA teams full of cpu's to make room for super casuals, I think he'll have plenty of teams to choose from, not only in AA.
Between the number of people who quit outright and the number who sell their existing teams and retire all their players to start over in a
super casual league....teams will be plentiful. Dots will be whats lacking.

And from what I understand, super casual players are not eligible to grow up and move out of the super casual league, where as now a dot is a dot and can go wherever he can find work.

Then you'll have some people (like me probably) who will try to hang on and compete but retire players to make up the difference in flex,
until all their flex are gone and then just walk away from the game.

I just see a major cluster fuck comin and it'll be very interesting to watch it unfold in the coming days..,and that would be a shame, because I really like the way the game is at the present time.

very succinct analysis, and probably how it will end for me well.
