Edit to add Bort quote explaining that it's not going to be as much work as people think it will be:

FYI I see the interface for this being pretty straightforward - lots of simple "click to buy" sorts of things, with a bar or number at the top that shows your current and potential morale bonus for the purchase.

It may seem like there's lots of stuff, but once it's put into an interface it should be easier to understand. Think along the lines of the franchise mode in some console sports games - you go to a "stadium" page and choose some upgrades and options at the start of the season, and then go play the rest of the game.

That is my initial thoughts as well, but I am trying to avoid the urge to over-react.

Maybe it is just initial reaction, but this seems very complex.

Owners and coordinators are getting burnt out on woprkload already. No one is here to play a financial sim and this just seems like a huge burden for teams to now shoulder

Wow! This is a lot to swallow.
This will be applied to all leagues - every team? Casual too?

I see it as a lot now, and maybe it'll turn out very easy, but how much extra time/work if any do you anticipate this creating for the average team owner. An extra hr per day? or an extra hr in the offseason to set everything?

It's a lot of text, no doubt about that but I think once the user interface is set up people will see it's not nearly as much work as they are imagining it will be. We just wanted to make sure to provide detailed information so that people understood everything that was being added.

First reaction from my side

- sell all my teams
- retire 90% of my players
- use the 300.000 FP to play with the 5 or 6 remaining players for the next 5 years

I will give it a second chance tomorrow, maybe than I understand it better right now I donīt have any idea how this should work

No, just regular season games.

One of the biggest complaints about the current financial situation is that the rich teams have an on the field advantage, since they can afford more players and more EQ. This new system "seems" to do a similar thing, since a team's finances will impact the player's starting energy and morale.

How will this new system avoid the "rich getting richer" syndrome that seemed to be such a negative of the old system?
