Great, so my dot currently on S3 slaved up 35 BT for nothing now. Well, not nothing technically but it kind of puts early to mid age dots at a bit of a disadvantage compared to the new generations coming up starting next season.

It's unfortunate that all these hours that could have been dedicated to ongoing issues within the game went towards this.

would have been better served working on the sim, imo.

As of this moment, I can't say I'm a fan of this change. It seems needlessly complicated for a system that, by and large, is very stable.

I await the implementation for final review.

that comparison is so stupid

Maybe, but it's true. A lot of people we're flipping shit about the fact that a new change was occurring that it was difficult to read to figure out what it means.

So maybe I'm getting this wrong about the Bonus Token issue...

Each season a player is given 100 Resource Units.

You get 2 Training Points a Day, 48 days in a season + 8 preseason days = 56 Days
So you should receive 122 Training Points

--Purchase 2 training points, 10 Resource Units
--Purchase 5 training points, 20 Resource Units
--Purchase 10 training points, 35 Resource Units
27 possible training points from the 100 Resource Units

Total of 149 training points a season

--light workout = small training bonus +3 bonus tokens

Each training session costs 2 points so you can train a total of 74 times

Each training gets you 3 Bonus Tokens so you'll have a total of 222 Bonus Tokens a season

Use those for Token Boosting which costs 4 Bonus Tokens and you can boost 55 times a season

This will produce 1 Skill Point each time so you'll have a total of 55 Skill Points more; a season?

Again my math may be way off and I might not get this whole thing so please correct me

Ill be honest I logged onto GLB to take a break from writing my chemisty masters thesis. I think now Ill go back to writing that masters thesis to let my brain recover from trying to understand the new training system.

You know I don't mind more things to do with my dots since there is nothing to do anyway but damn WHY is everything tied into team ownership ?

I want to train my dot my way , why do I need a calculus class to do it? Nothing fun there. Just open up the freakin training drop downs , so simple a caveman could do it.

So now I spend $70 a month to train a dot the way the team wants it trained , set his sliders the way the team wants them set , buy the VA's and SA's that work for the team pretty much and guess what ? I'm just building a player for a team owner.

Just sell teams as build your own dots. You guys are so way off here IMO. You know those cows on the stadium page ? some of them will be headed to a greener pasture. i really don't think that some things are really thought out. Not a rage quit , just an observation.

It costs 18 bonus tokens to get 1 skill point in the new system, not 4.

Will those dots with the advantage be going up against your S3 dot?

Exactly. The S3 dot will be playing with other dots without said "advantage."
