True.... I've had my ass slapped a few times on the field too! I've never really understood that. A smack in the head or on the shoulder seems to work also.

But a slap on the ass is a far cry from laying on top of another man with your face a half inch from his and gently stroking his cheek. "Milk-a-wha!"

It looks kind of weird, but I thought that was classy by huggins. The kid gave his all, and just obviously blew out his knee. Not only does he have the emotions of his college career ending, the tourney likely being over for his team, but he also likely just lost getting drafted by an NBA team.

Rather than let him sit there and think about all that plus the pain while the trainers test his knee...go console him. Yeah it looked kind of weird...but who cares.

Hey, I'm not saying I wouldn't console the kid. I was a player/teammate/coach I know the strong bonds developed in sports....

but the 1/2 inch cheek caress is going a little far in my book. The coach seems like a good guy and so does the kid.

Yeah but to be fair he didn't lick him, had he have licked him I think it probably would have crossed the line!

As I understand it, Butler kept saying "I'm sorry coach, I'm sorry coach". That's commitment to the team, kid tore his ACL and MCL, hits the court in agony, and when his coach comes over he's apologizing for hurting himself.
