I'll do this now, since I doubt I'll have time before reg ssn starts. Also, though I wish I could, I doubt I'll be able to do these regularly during ssn. I'll try to toss one out when I can, though:

1) D9, This will be my 5th ssn owning D9. The first 3 we tossed a bunch of our old dots on the team and LOLrecruited with blind offers. Last ssn was the 1st I actually recruited, putting together a decent team, but a considerably shy of what I wanted/needed. This was our 2nd ssn of legit recruiting. The good news for APL, we're not where I want us to be yet. Bad news for APL, we're a hell of a lot closer than we've ever been before.
2) Carthage, since I had them here before, I don't see a reason to change this. I'm a bit surprised that they haven't been blowing away teams in their 3 of their 4 games so far, but it's LOLps too. So, you can't really count it for much.
3) Warthogs are staying where I had them too. They have a hell of a staff and just flat out kick ass builds. They're a little young, but only 2 of their starters are shy of lvl 64...And if you saw their builds you'd understand why that's not concerning.
4)I'm moving Sahara Storm up one. Sure, it's LOLps, but they played Carthage REALLY tough and just smashed what I think will be at least a decent, if not good Pirgos team and beat the Warthogs. Granted, they hadn't boosted yet and that makes a big dif at their ave lvl, but they still were far from a push over.
5) I'm cheating and doing a 3 way for 5th:Bamako Black Magic, Ivory Coast Breakers & Sons of Anubis all have jumped out at me. I could buy any one of them belonging anywhere in the top 5, including my #1 slot.
Honorable Mention: all the rest, except the rebuilders. As I say up top, I really don't pretend to know anything yet. Besides, I'm as clueless as the rest of you if Bort will tweek this or that, yet. Often, those seemingly little changes make a huge difference for a team or 2, in either direction.
Overall thoughts:
Though I still believe Ele may be the most competitive PL conference in GLB, I believe Lion has narrowed that gap a bit. Sure, we have PHP, a rebuilding Nigeria & Rwanda, IRONTON & Uganda could use a few more dots, but the old guard appears to have all done well with their teams and the new blood has been p impressive. should be a fun ssn.
