Just in case you're not familiar with me, I try to do write ups with each league I'm a part of. It'll take a week or two to get familiar with each team and I do try to be creative. I'll write in some things to 'rile up' teams, don't take it personally it's all in good fun, I'm not taking shots at anyone, the point of the write ups at times are to create hype for games, best way to do that is to talk smack .

Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, children of all ages. Shut the hell up and pay attention Day 1 is almost here!!!!
War of the Worlds: Alpha vs. Zeta
Stockholm Black Death @ Sin City Silent Assasssins
Both of these teams are stacked, I remember Sin City back in the day in the capped leagues, they've come a long way as have Stockholm. Led by great Defenses and equally great offenses, this game will set the tone for their entire season. One team will open 1-0 and the other will open 0-1, as we've seen in the past that reality can sometimes lead to an even worse (or better) game 2. Coaching is not going to be an issue here, what will be is if the ref's can keep up with all the hard hitting that is going to take place. Stretchers will be in plentiful supply.
Eastern European Alliance @ Guam Gorrillas
EEA has a lot to prove. I'm sorry but when you're one of two probable favorites to win the championship and you lose in round 1 of the playoffs, there's just too many questions on day one of the following season. But let's not doubt them early folks, still led with greatness, EEA has the potential to strike back. Guam, a team I'm very familiar with from the days of WSR, Guam will definitely be ready for this game. But will that matter? Guam also lost in round one of the playoffs and it was ugly. Guam and EEA are definitely going to be out to prove to the other teams that they are back and better than ever, I'm just glad I'm not on the field with them...yet.
Razorback Nation @ Death Dealers
Another game where the greats are coming out to play. I'm a bit unfamiliar with both teams however, one thing I can say today is that the Southern Pride will be heavily in attendance for what is likely to be a blood bath. This could be one of the most tale telling games of week 1. Look for the 'unknown to me' teams to make the biggest waves. Just because they're unknown to me,doesn't mean their unknown to the other inhabitants of OPL. History in the making? Well let's not get ahead of ourselves..not yet.
Berlin Kreuzberg Red Stars @ Freedom Town Band of Brothers
The only question I have is.... Berlin..what in THE HELL HAPPENED? The clear favorite for the Championship imo, and they got beat in week 1 of the playoffs. Hey, I'm sure we don't need to relive that memory do we Freedom? All I know is that Berlin is going to be looking to steamroll through the competition like a starved Hyena! Enjoying it in laughter all the way. Freedom is a well built team though and I can guarantee they're not talking Berlin lightly. This'll be a lights out barn burner folks, put the women and the children to bed because this one is about to get nasty!
Halifax Black Pearls @ Christchurch Fighting Maori
Both teams here are licking their chops awaiting the first snap. Me, I'm waiting for that first pass to fire off! This game will really come down to testing the defenses of both teams I believe. Big Play Potential all over the place. Both of these teams have the potential to mark themselves as League Favorites, it's time to put up or shut up!
Canberra Wolverines @ Samoa Flying Foxes
The Wolverines are looking to make lunch out of the foxes and vise versa. Both teams have a ton to prove and they expect to be contenders for the title. Each game matters in the seeding race and I predict these are both teams that need every advantage they can get their hands on. But on day 1, it's all going to be about the first 60 minutes. At the end of this game, one of the teams could realize at the end of the first 16 games, the first play is what mattered the most.
