Is it better to boost at the start or end of the season?

Depends what level you are.
And what your player goal/team goals are.

Useless response...

The golden rule is to boost at the end of every season, as late as possible. You do this so you can get maximum benefits from training, daily & match experience and automatic level gains (ALGs). A lot of teams boost just before the playoffs (if they get in) in order to be competitive, this is fine too. If you don't make the playoffs, you should boost somewhere on days 40 or 41 (Bort should announce what day is the last day to boost for capped leagues). If you aren't on a team you can even wait until the day before the roll-over to the new season to boost (ie: last day of the season).

The only time its useful to boost earlier is when you're level 22-24. Boost to level 25 in order to get veteran experience points earlier.

Hope that helped.

After level 29, it is better to boost at the beginning of the season. After that level you reach the minimum of available exp. for daily training and game exp. There is no difference between a level 29 player and a level 70. You get 25 exp. per day for daily training and a max of 100 exp. for 20 plays or more... So no need to wait to boost

yeah basically you can wait to boost at the end of the season for your first two season, to get max xp value.

at the start of your 3rd season, you should be around lvl 22, when you can boost to lvl 25 at the start of the season to start getting vet points.

in your 4th season, if you wait to boost until you hit lvl 29 naturally, you can squeeze in a few extra game xps at lvl 27 and 28. very minor difference, but just depends on if you want to be a bit more competitive by using your boosts for those first few games, or get a few extra xps.

from lvl 29+ you don't gain anything by not boosting at the start of the season.
