Don Ho's Tiny Dotball's Tourney

Going to kick off a tourney this season. Objective is a fun and competitive field. With some flex involved, my own team will not be playing, to remove possible controversy. Along the lines of Pinks All Out, any team can apply. A competitive field will be picked using a combination of SP value, Effective level, Actual level, LOLBar and team record. The value ranges will be according to the teams that apply. Preferably with in a 90-100 point SP value range. 32 teams (max) will be picked to compete. If fewer teams apply, the brackets will change accordingly. Teams have until day -4 to apply. The qualifying teams will be picked no later than 1700 cst day -2. To apply, post team name, and a link to them. If a non boosting team please leave a note by your team

Rules

For the first round, the lower seed will challenge the higher seed. For the second round, the higher seed is responsible for sending the challenge. It will continue to alternate each round, so the third will have the lower seed sending, the fourth the higher will be sending, and for the final round, the the lower team will send.

If the team responsible for sending the challenge does not do so by the required date, its an automatic forfeit.

Note to teams sending the challenge, please make sure if its scheduled on a day the other team has a league game, make it as far time wise (Minimum of 4 hours) as possible for the other team unless you arrange something else with them. Not much fun playing a league game an hour before or after a tournament.

Teams accepting the challenge have 2 days from the day the challenge was sent to accept. If they fail to do so, its an automatic forfeit.

Challenges need to be (R) type and playoff rules apply

The first round games must be scheduled and played by day 6. (Challenge must be sent by day 2)
The second round games must be scheduled and played by day 12. (Challenge must be sent by day 8)
The third round games must be schedules and played by day 18. (Challenge much be sent by day 14)
The fourth round games must be shedules and played by day 24. (Challenge much be sent by day 20)
The fith round game must be scheduled and played by day 30. (Challenge much be sent by day 26)
Though its not on the bracket, the consolation prize game (3rd place/4th place) follows the fifth round rules.

This is a single elimination style tournament. You lose, you are done. You win, you move on.

The winner must post a game link, and the winners name on the PF.

Any team is allowed to enter, the closest 32 will be picked to play. If not enough enter, then reduced to 16, then 8, then 4, then 2, and if even only two enter that are close, then looks like they both are getting paid. Someone is getting paid regardless. Like Pinks All out, the closest 32 teams as far as level, effective level, sp value and team record/history will be picked to ensure solid competition. So if 100, or more, or less teams enter, with the most being an average SP value of 850, then teams will be picked from 800 to 900. If more sign up with an average of 500, then 450 to 550 is what will be looked at. It all depends on the teams signing up as to what teams are picked to play.

Hehe Which, right now, we have potentially 2-3 potential groups, each with only 2-3 teams depending on far the values were stretched.
