I'm debating this even for my lvl56 C:

If you take an archetype, your average level gains are getting cut in half. Over the next 10 levels, it's a loss of about 2SP in STR and BLK.

On the other hand, the bonuses to SAs like Get Low and Pancake will be useful and the archetype SA might be worth something.

So is it worth it for a C to take an archetype?

It's a fair question.

I think that if you're far enough along you should but I'm not sure level 56 is far enough.

My level 70 center took Run Blocking for the SAs but he's not going to be leveling much going forward.

I think I'll leave my level 35 center as is.

Level 56 is right at the point where you could go either way.
